Great location with a good pool and and very happy friendly staff. Lots of quality entertainment and happy hour at the bar 4-5 every day. Bar snacks and food all of a good standard and reasonably priced. Some noise at night but that's only to be expected in a family resort.
The best thing about my stay was...Location staff and room AC

Nice appartments need some maintenance though
Suntanned Dubliner, Dublin
Stayed in July 2016. Had requested an apartment with sun in the evening and reasonably close to reception area. Neither requests were fulfilled initially and the only response that we received at reception after requesting an apartment transfer was "that they were fully booked up unless we wanted to upgraded to a two bed apartment at a cost". Lock on the sliding patio door was faulty and after one episode when my wife & daughter were locked out and I was locked in due to the faulty lock mechanism we received a transfer on the basis that this door posed a fire safety hazard particularly at night. If you get a nice apartment this complex can be very nice as it is well situated. Some other minor niggles. Although it is cheap to eat out as we did every other night they could really improve the standard of the cutlery & glasses in the apartments - they look like the odds & ends from a junk shop. We also had a leak from the roof in our apartment although this was dealth with quickly. The pools also are very deep particularly for non confident swimmers 2.5 meters & 2.2 meters depth and not a life guard to be seen. The location is very good but they really should up their game with respect to maintenance on the appartments. Having said all that the apartment was actually very nice, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space both inside and of the balcony.
The best thing about my stay was...Location was very good

not what we expected
Although location was excellent we felt very disappointed with our accommodation. I booked the flights and hotel separately The rock Lago cost a total of 1800 pounds for one week B+B for 2 adults+3 children We had a ground floor apartment which stunk of drains. a kitchen that I've put better in the skip rubbish. A kettle that was changed twice and still would not boil. No dishes only plates. A sharp knife that folded in on itself each time you triEd cutting with it Only 4 chairs when there was 5 of us
The best thing about my stay was...fab location right on the marina with loads of restaurants +shops.

Return visit on 03/08/2015
Mr & Mrs Finnegan, London
This was our second visit to these apartments and chosen for their convenience to reach the marina. Unfortunately due to several delays on our Thomas Cook flight we arrived at 1am on the 4th instead of 11.30am on the 3rd. We were quickly booked in and shown part of the way to our accommodation. On our last visit we had an apartment near to the reception, and did not realise that the complex stretched across the road. We had apartment 2066 which was about the furthest you could go. Both my husband and I are nearing 70 and found the distance difficult. I am sure that if we had asked reception later that day they would have tried to help to move us. However due to losing 1 day already due to our flight delays we felt that it would have been another day wasted trying to sort out a move so stayed where we were. The apartments are roomy and clean and are perfect to be near the marina. Next time we book we will make sure that we ask for a nearer apartment.
The best thing about my stay was...Position of the complex to the marina.

Superb location....would stay there again...
Hotel is situated next to the harbour and you are close to all restaurants, bars, beach and the waterpark. A supermarket is right opposite the hotel, which does everything you would need...bakes baguettes on site for 75c...which were lovely. We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior room, which was very basic, so not sure what a standard room would be like!!! All 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor and being on the ground floor means you have more out door space as there are areas off grass, which the children can play on. We took our 3 children aged 4, 10 & 12 and they had a great time. The kitchen area is very small and I did try cooking breakfast one morning but with only one small frying pan and just two ring burners it proved to be more hassle than it's worth so decided to eat breakfast out. Ok for making my youngest beans on toast. If your looking to cook on your hols then u might be dissapointed with the facilities available. The pool is lovely, which has an area for the young ones, so ideal if you have both young and older children. However we only went to the pool twice as you are given a wristband to gain free entry to aqua rock which is the local waterpark...kids loved it there and catered for all ages...plenty of life guards so as parents you could relax a little...if we didn't get free entry the cost is 20 euros for adults and 15 euros for kids...3 and under are free. We went there rather than sitting round the pool..so for us we saved a small fortune. I can't comment on the hotels restaurant or evening entertainment as we ate out every night. We found reception staff very helpful. The local beach was lovely and clean and had all the facilities you need, however I would take drinks etc with you, as the restaurant on the beach was very very expensive.. I was charged 280 euros for a fruit shoot...however if u are hungry ..a 5 min walk brings you back into the harbour... There are lots of nice places to eat...one of the cheapest was Chaplins which does pub grub food and u can get a fry up for 3 euros..the rest of the items on the menu was around 7 euros. If u want a nice steak then the steakhouse was fab...great service and food. We also liked eating in tropicana...tried the fiesta restaurant had bad service but the food was nice. Overall a great place to take a family...everywhere we went was family friendly and would definitely go back again and stay in these apartments...

Roc Lago Park Calan Bosch
Anthony Rogers, Essex
On arriving at the Roc early we were pleasantly surprised that the room was ready So we then set about taking our luggage and popping into Chaplins to see some old faces The place is a must if your a 1st time in Bosch good food good service and good fun to be had the room we had at the Roc was adequate although we had a bad smell in the kitchen area for a few days They did their best to deal with it The staff were very pleasant especially the animation team Rodo, Martina and Daniel I would most certainly recommend this apartment its pretty good value for money
The best thing about my stay was...Calan bosch itself enough said

Our stay here was over and above our expectations. From what I had read about the place I was prepared not be very happy here but we were more than happy. Cleaners were in every day , entertainment team were on top form and the situation of Roc Lago was perfect. I really think that some of the previous reviews were by people with nothing better to do.(and we never saw one ant) Would certainly recommend Roc Lago for families with small children.
The best thing about my stay was...Good food, comfy beds and perfect weather
