The Argyll hotel is ideal for our trips to Glasgow with plenty of free parking at the weekend close to hotel and allows us to travel up and down with ease . There is an abundance of taxis into the city centre at roughly £5 a trip and some great restaurants within walking distance on Sauchiehal street

good for budget stay in city centre

Spent two nights in the Argyll hotel as part of a weekend shopping break Good location quite near the centre so shops and restaurants quite close by Down side of our stay was that we arrived quite late in the evening to find that hotel was fully booked and we were moved to the guest house across the street - that in itself would not have been a problem as room was spacious and clean but the member of staff on duty had great difficulty in finding the room key and we had to wait in the freezing cold until the correct key was located.
