Just home from Ascos had a fantastic time couldn’t ask for better location hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful spotless clean but if your looking for a four star this is not for you very dated carpet on all floors very grubby cleaned everyday just stained and old could do with an update breakfast good quality and lunch dinner a bit hit and miss we stayed on the 3rd floor stay away you’ll be awake all night with banging pipes only complaint
The best thing about my stay was...Rooms spotless staff, location

We are just back from a lovely stay in the hotel. The hotel itself is lovely and had a nice quick check in with lovely staff. The food was lovely. We only stayed half board and went with breakfast and lunch each day. There was something different every day for lunch which was great and plenty of options. The staff was lovely and very efficient. The service around the pool is great. Entertainment during the day is good. Mainly for adults though not much happening for kids. The guys are lovely though and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I've given it an 8 because I think they should include something for the kids during the day. Other than that it was a great stay.
The best thing about my stay was...Our sea view room.

great food/staff/drinks on all inclusive
jackie leonard, Ireland
I really enjoyed my stay at Ascos Coral Beach. However just 3 things I think can be improved on. 1 ) the entertainment was not the best 2) they need to take out the baths and put in walk in showers as the baths are very narrow and i felt quite dangerous 3) a few english speaking tv channels would be nice, they seem to cater for the Russians and Eastern Europeans
The best thing about my stay was...staff were really nice and helpful, the whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was excellent

....would recommend without hesitation.
We had a thoroughly laid-back, enjoyable week at the Ascos and would recommend it to friends and family without hesitation. We requested a low floor room and were allocated a beautiful room on the first floor, situated on a corner which was not only larger than other rooms, but also had a double aspect view. Everything was clean and tidy and maid service was excellent. Most staff - especially bar staff were very pleasant and friendly and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed a wide choice of food in the stunning dining room - the service was very efficient and the views were amazing. A couple of slight criticisms would be there was inefficient seating available in the lounge area in the evening (entertainment was inside, this being early in the season), and although some of the entertainment was ok, some was repetitive and mediocre. We also expected to find a child -free hotel, as advertised at time of booking, but this wasn't the case - feel all advertising should be updated to make this clear.
The best thing about my stay was...The beautiful views from our room.

I stayed at this hotel with my partner in May 2009 and in October 2010 with my sister. We had a great time. All the staff are excellent from the ladies who serviced the rooms to the ladies who manned the reception and not forgetting the restaurant and bar staff. However, I would like to mention Elana who serviced our room, Chris and Popi in the restaurant, also the young man in the beach bar. There was a good selection of food at all sittings so thanks to the chefs. I think one person who probably gets forgotten is Damien who clears the china and cuterly. So really thank you to everyone at the Ascos Coral Beach for making our stay so good. The entertainment catered for everyone. The singer on the Monday night was absolutely great. I think his name was Dave Evans. A great all round hotel would certainly go back again and looking forward to it. We like the beach and you only had to go to the top of the road and get on the bus for 1 Euro to the Corialla beach. Not sure if that's what it is called but it is where the bus terminates. You can go anywhere on the Island for 1 Euro too so everything is in easy reach. J. Leonard London

excellent location and staff
ROGER MILLER, BEDFORD
Really good hotel with excellent friendly staff. Good location. Really good selection of food at all meals. Only downside bathrooms looking a bit tired could do with a refurbishment. Overall would reccomend.
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly staff and service

Great All Inclusive Hotel
John Spanswick, Bridgend
Stayed here for a week in July 2010 and its one of the best (if not the best) All Inclusive hotels I have ever stayed at. The food is really good with a different theme each evening. There are at least 25 differetn cocktail drinks in the AI package and the bar staff come and take your orden or you can just keep going to the bar yourself. The only slight downside is that the evening dinner is a little too formal in that men have to wear long trousers (no shorts, not even 3/4 length) and no sleeveless shirts. But what do you expect when it is really classy! Also plenty of wine in the AI package. The evening entertainment was not that great, but o.k. for a laugh after a few drinks. The view from the restuarant was stunning and the pool area always had plenty of sunbeds available. If you are looking for a quality AI hotel at a reasonable price then you will not go far wrong with this one.
The best thing about my stay was...The food and selection of drinks available in the AI package.

Review of 'ASCOS'
Darren Smith, Manchester England
Me and my partner and freinds were at the ascos in august 2006 and had a great time.<br />we are going back again this year we were so impressed. The staff and the reps were allways on hand to help and advise. The food i cant fault The rooms were cleaed daily.you dont have to take your own towels just leave a returnable deposit i think it is ten cypriot pounds and you can change your towels as often as you like. you dont have to get up early to get your sunbed becuse there's plenty of them. i understand you cant please everyone but some of the reviews i have read are just unbeleivable. My advice to anyone thinking of going to the Ascos is dont worry about the negative reviews you have read.just go and you will have a great time.i hope this helps
