We have just returned from a week's stay at Beatriz Costa & Spa. Myself, husband and 11/13 yr olds. It was a lovely spacious hotel. Absolutely spotless. The pools were fab with salt water pool and a heated pool. Salt pool a little cool for April but I can imagine how refreshing it would be in August/September. Plenty of sunbeds with pool bar and eating area. Where you could have lunch and snacks provided. We stayed in a large suite (501) in the quiet end of hotel and found this great with lovely views looking across to the sea. I must say and the family agree it is the all inclusive food we have experienced with so much choice at all meal times. The drinks on the all inclusive like the wine, cava and lager are fine but I do think the spirits used in cocktails or with mixers need to be branded and not local brand, some drinks were terrible. We found all the staff in the hotel very helpful and friendly. My children enjoyed a few games if crazy golf and tennis. The kids club looked really good for any parent with little ones and the poolside games kept older children entertained as well as some adults. The evening shows along with kids disco etc were fine and finished about 11.30pm so wasn't too late. The El Divo show was excellent. Apart from the later evening show there was music in the piano bar. To have a spa with treatments and thalassotherapy pool was really nice. Treatments aren't too expensive either. You can use the spa for 2 hours a day with all inclusive if you wish. Some people might find the walk into the local town a bit far as its about 20 minute. But there is a courtesy bus which runs a few times a day and a taxi only costs around 5 euro. It can be quite breezy around Teguise but we took a couple of trips out and had an excellent time. Highly recommend the volcanos trip. Some people have put up negative reviews but take no notice we found everything to be excellent.
The best thing about my stay was...The pool was excellent. Chi!dren loved it.

Beautuful hotel complex. Food is very good BUT ...TWO chefs need to be at hot food at all times. Food sometimes cold. Very good variety in restaurant daily. The pool bar should have more variety of lighter foods eg. Croissants biscuits (in pack) flapjack (like at breakfast) as they are tiny finger length. They also have lovely mini muffins at breakfast that could be in poorbar. The variety of main food in pool bar not too bad. Staff are very good.
The best thing about my stay was...Liked everything esp the spa

We have just returned from a week in this lovely Hotel. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was amazing, there was always plenty of choice even for the fussy eaters. I loved entertainment part! Mini disco- my daughter was crazy about. I would recommend staying to anyone.
The best thing about my stay was...Pool area

We had a absolutely fantastic time. Staff was lovely except for a couple on the restaurant, they didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to help, but that did not ruin my holiday.. entertainment team were lovely and friendly.. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you.
The best thing about my stay was...The food and staff well most of them...

Not the Best but Good
Alfred Ingleton, UK
The room was spacious and comfortable and had a good bathroom and OK balcony. Sadly the decor was dreary and old and the furniture (apart from the beds which were OK) was run down and we lacked drawers. We had Bed and Breakfast and there was always ample food with some variations on offer. Quality was average - sometimes good sometimes less so. The Spa was good.
The best thing about my stay was...The bathroom was very good and we weren't often disturbed by noise from other rooms

Stayed at this hotel a couple of summers ago and deliberately booked it again. Have also stayed at the Occidental Teguise, which is the other side of the resort. They are both good 4 star all inclusive hotels and although Beatriz is missing a squash court, and the in-water play area is better for small children at the Occidental, the thalasso spa at Beatriz trumps everything if you like that sort of thing. All guests over 16 can use it once per day (our 13 year old daughter had no challenge going in every day last time we went so don't let the age restriction put you off, if your teenagers know how to handle themselves!) and it is great when the weather is a bit dull. Also, the heated outdoor pool at Beatriz is the best temperature I've experienced on a winter sun holiday. My daughter and I lasted for an hour on one occasion but there were lots of others using it generally so it wasn't just a case of us being brave! The food is also good and they serve San Miguel; a branded lager is a first in my experience at an all inclusive and knocked spots off the amber fizz experienced in most other places. The rooms are pretty good. The corridors are carpeted and the doors all have anti-slam devices on them so we had no disturbances from people moving up and down the corridor after we had gone to bed. The evening entertainment was mediocre and noticeably poorer this time than our previous summer visit - not sure whether this is a seasonal thing but I'm not very keen on hotel evening entertainment TBH so I wasn't bothered either way. The staff are all pretty good generally too, particularly on reception, so no complaints there. In summary, we really enjoyed a second visit and are very likely to go back.
The best thing about my stay was...Thalasso spa and heated outdoor pool.

Sadly disappointingly tired.....
Paul Richardson, Fuerteventura
We stayed there for 2 nights. It's huge. Immediate impression was good, downstairs reception area was nice. Upon entry to room.. It was tired, in serious need of updating. Aged units were yellowed and cracking, carpet thin and faded, Bathroom fittings chipped and rusty or yellowed plastic. Sheets had small "burn" holes in them. Very poor considering the nightly rate.
The best thing about my stay was...Public area themed decor..

Lovely hotel, although a bit further out than i thought it was. The reception staff were very friendly, cleaning staff always greeted me with a good morning in Spanish! The inside was amazing, plants growing down, a waterfall inside, bars and restaurants were welcoming. Outside the swimming pools were cleaned daily, could possibly benefit with a little more cover around the seating areas. I didn't feel rushed during mealtimes, it felt quiet and calm. A good spruce up and lick of paint would be the only criticism.
The best thing about my stay was...after upgrading to all inclusive, the free access to drinks and meals

Fantastic 5 day break with my 10 year old son

Second visit to this hotel which is located a short walk from the main centre which is superb as very quiet, the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis. The all inclusive buffet caters for all food tastes with lots of choice. Pools and pool area are very clean and plenty of sunbeds even when coming down later of a morning we had no problem getting our beds. Lots of daytime entertainment if you want to get involved but not in your face if you choose not to. All the staff very friendly apart from Laura on reception, maybe I caught her at a bad time, all the others superb.
