Hotel rooms a little dated, but location makes up for that as you do not spend much time in the room. Rooftop pool a gem, never a problem getting a sunbed. Went half board, and was a bit hit and miss, but overall fine. Would certainly return to this hotel.

Fantastic staff service, central location with functional rooms
Tim Callaghan, England
The fantastic service and incredibly helpful staff more than made up for dated decor. from the front desk to the room cleaners to restaurant front and back room staff were just amazing :) we were a group of 5 and one of our group had the misfortune of not having their case arrive at Izmir airport when they did ... the Derici front desk staff were just amazing with dealing with Izmir airport in order to determine where the case was - as it turned out, the luggage never left Gatwick airport - after three days, our case was found and by day 4 was with its owner ... this would definitely not have happened so promptly had it not been for the daily communications made on our behalf by the front desk of the Derici - they went way above and beyond expectations - thank you the Derici ... the decor is a little dated but in my view, it was functional as I only use a hotel room for sleeping purposes on holiday as I try to do as much as possible outside of the hotel when I am on holidays ... the free internet was at times slow but functional for my use - I’m not a surfer, just a user for travel needs and local destinations ... and an fyi - I never give a 10/10 ;)

Time for a makeover
Been using this Hotel for 7 years. Location is good but hasn't had a facelift that it requires. It is next door to the new Ilayda boutique hotel which has a Starbucks. So Derici have added a coffee outlet called Robert's to compete and charge 12Tl for a beer, that is when you can get served! Rooms basic and flooring still has tired carpets when you leave Lobby. Avoid rear of Hotel rooms especially floors 4 and 5 as you get the smell of chlorine from Istankoy Hotel roof pool.
The best thing about my stay was...Location
