Didim Beach Resort October 2014
This hotel was very grand. My accommodation was a double room with a garden view. I overlooked the front of the hotel which suited me fine. the cleaners work so hard, each day I returned to my bedding made into a beautiful swan and an exceptionally clean room. I will say due to going mid- end October the choice of food was lacking, if you don't mind the same food each day of your holiday with a slight twist, you would be fine. I however usually like a hotel that offers something different every day. I think it was due to being end of season there was little choice, would like to know what the range was like throughout the high season. Overall the hotel was lovely, water slides were great fun, and I am 29years old.

the worst vacation of my life
Florin, from Bucharest, 43 years old, family man with 2 children, 2 and respectively 6 years old Very shortly, I have been there between July 27th – August 8th, 2014 and I lived the worst experience in my life in the field of touristic services. The hotel cannot be cataloged with maximum 3 stars as regard of the rooms (the old building), the food no more than 1-2 stars, the resort personnel 1 star, the services generally 2 stars maximum. Some examples: I waited 2 hrs. after the official time for check-in in order to get the room, they gave us room in the old building and not in the new one as I had reservation since January 2014, the food is horrible, we had to wake up at 6.00 hrs. in order to find a chair at the beach and even earlier for a chair at the main pool, it was asked to us to leave from the beach at 19.15 claiming that the beach was closed, everything is organized in such a way that the tourists can consume as less as possible, a mockery towards tourists. It happened to me there things that simply shocked me. That’s why; I sacrificed some of my time to write a 10 pages review about all this stuff in order to help other not to have the same experiences. I selected about 50 pictures that support my affirmations of the long review. As I am not sure that this site accepts so many pictures I downloaded them on google drive for those who want to be informed in detail. I notice that google drive arranged everything different than I saved there and the 10 pages review is at the end after all pictures. For the interested people please see the link https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwX3PLxFD41kSUlLUzFuSGhFMWc&usp=sharing I wish you only great vacations! ps. Last days, I found a press article from UK about a British tourist who used the waterslide from Didim Beach Resort and, because the pool is too short, he hit the wall and his leg was broken in 6 places. It is unbelievable what suffer had this man to go through. The images of the wound of this tourist published in this article might affect emotionally the viewers. Read the article until down at the link http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2579157/This-awful-moment-father-two-ploughs-swimming-pool-wall-breaks-leg-six-places-skids-end-treacherous-Turkish-waterslide.html
The best thing about my stay was...the pool area and the green area around it until down to the sea

The best all inclusive we have ever stayed at!!
neil pulford, St Helens
We stayed at this hotel for 10nights, the food was good, catering for all, my 9year old son loved the pancakes with chocolate sauce! The rooms were cleaned daily always plenty of fresh towels and bottled water put in your fridge. The staff are pleasant they work very hard always cleaning up. The pool area is great, slides are fantastic opening 10-12 then 2-4 everyday, the entertainment team are a friendly bunch trying their best around the pool to organise games, the only problem we had was getting a sunbed, you had to be up at 6am to put your towel on a bed otherwise you had no chance! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would like to return here again in the future!
The best thing about my stay was...Beautiful hotel, great food and good entertainment!

Very poor service at Didim Reception
Anouar Zouali, Sidcup, Kent
I booked one double room and one twin room at Didim resort. After a long flight and about 2 hours transfer to the hotel we arrived at 3.00pm and were told that the rooms are not ready and that we should wait for 2 hours. Then we were told that they don't have two rooms and that they will give us a family room for 0ne night and promise to give us two rooms the next day.The family room was not ready to accomodate 5 persons, we had to go to reception 3 times trying to get an extra cousion and sheet for my son, also there was no remote control available for the Air conditioning, so we had to go down to receptioon a couple of time before they sent it. The next day I went to reception as agreed to get two rooms, only to be told that we had to wait an other night before the rooms are available. I had to complain to the manager before we were moved to the two rooms I booked on the third day.We found reception staff unprofessional and unhelpfull, and cvery dificult to communicate with as their English is not that good. I must admite that there are lots of friendly and helpful staff at other department of the hotel, but our experience at the reception made us see everything negative at the resort and our stay was not enjoyable and spoild.
The best thing about my stay was...Day and Night entertainment was good so was the varaity of food

3 Star at best
Lionel Ferguson, Izmir
In the middle of nowhere, luckily the dolmus service was good. Rooms are noisy, dated and hot water intermitent. Food was average. Glasses smelt and tasted of bleach. We looked at other hotels for the next visit.

lovely hotel - food great
Sam Humphreys, Swindon
Stayed at hotel for 11 nights in July 2010. The weather was fantastic all 10 days of our stay. I cant believe the other reviews about the food in this hotel. We have gone all inclusive to all over europe for the last 6 years and this was one of the best we have stayed in. Every morning you have a choice of fried or scrambled egg, meats, fresh bread and rolls and cereals. Every meal time there is plenty of choice especially the salad bar. If you just want burger and chips you can have that at the outside snack bar. From midday the pancake ladies make fresh pancakes which are amazing(these are made in a tent on the way to the beach) Rooms clean and everything you need. Kids loved pool with water slides. Main pool great. Hotel ideal situation - it is a 5-10 minute walk to the centre Altinkum, which is a very lively town. Young adults would love the bars and discos. If you dont want to walk there is a bus stops right outside hotel( comes every 5 mins, cost 75p) it will drop you in centre of town. The only down side to this hotel is the entertainment at night. Its rubbish! Only on the first night with all the turkish dancers was it worth watching. Also there is no bacardi or white rum in the all inclusive drinks but it was great trying their own raki (very strong, like ouzo)
The best thing about my stay was...Weather, hotel and food.
