Amazing resort, friendly staff, good food.
The best thing about my stay was...Beautiful and pleasant place

Myself and my partner had a week there for our anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied. And the pool was fantastic. The pool was large with different sections and areas with sunbeds in and out of the shade. The hotel itself is away from the main road meaning the noise was minimal from the road. Only negative is that the beaches nearby were pebbles instead of sand but that can't be helped and apart from the pebbles, the beach and sea was lovely.
The best thing about my stay was...The Pool

LOVELY HOTEL AND GREAT FOOD
Would recommend this hotel, good location only a 5 min walk to the main street and beach. Food was half board basis with breakfast buffet and either lunch or dinner in one of the 2 restaurants which were waiter service. Food was 3 courses and top quality and lots of choices. Sunbeds easily available round the pool and large pool area , staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and we had a room on the 5th floor so had a sea view. Maid service every day and fresh towels provided daily. entertainment provided in the bar every evening and water aerobics in the pool every other day.
The best thing about my stay was...Despite this being a large hotel - made up of 3 buildings it was relaxing to stay here.

Hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds are lovely too. Stayed here for 2 weeks, the room was cleaned everyday, the towels changed daily too. A 0.5 litre beer was 3.5 Euros, and a vodka with mixer 6.00 Euros. The resort of Ixia is really just a long road dotted with bars and restaurants, a bit spread out and the beach is not nice at all, however it is only 10 Euros to Rhodes Town which is beautiful. We went there most nights. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again, its secluded and a great place to relax through the day.
The best thing about my stay was...The hotel and Rhodes town.

Stayed there for 10 days was very good staff were fantastic pools very nice and clean only down side was not a lot for kids to do in the evening and there was no wireless you have to pay for it and it's not worth it. Needs some decorating in the rooms really dated but really loved it there.
The best thing about my stay was...The Staff.

Excellent for the price
The hotel was quite good overall. In the area, this hotel is excellent for its price. If you are more interested in a unique experience, I would always suggest a B&B, but if you want a saltwater pool and a hotel experience, the Dionysos Hotel is the place for you.
The best thing about my stay was...Pool area

Looks like all the Budget has been spent on the pool & exterior!
My stay at Dionysos was rather mixed. The location, the grounds & the pool area where brilliant. Externally its stunning! The disappointment was internally. The old key system is in desperate need of updating, the rooms where a 1980's throwback & the beds where shocking! Im pretty fit & dont have any issues with my back, but after two nights, trying to sleep I was crippled! They are Rock hard! I did mention it when I checked out was just told that they are aware & had complaints?? I also found the staff not overly helpful or particularly friendly! I did plenty of research prior to going but was pretty disappointed after the reviews Id read, especially for a four star? I wouldn't stay here again as the negatives out weighed the positives!
The best thing about my stay was...Pool area & grounds.

The Dionysos is a gorgeous hotel - beautiful gardens surrounding the pools, very serene. The only downside is the evening entertainment because it only lasts an hour. They should put DJ George on after the various entertainment acts to liven things up.The hotel is a few miles away from Rhodes Old Town. The bus (2 mins. around the corner from the hotel) arrives every 15 mins. and it only takes around 10 mins. We were on bed and breakfast, which was all you could wish for, so much variety and very tasty. Along the front are many restaurants. The waiters are all friendly and hospitable in a good way, and the Greek food is delicious. You will enjoy your stay and wish that the days didn't fly by so quickly.
The best thing about my stay was...Location and breakfast

Beautiful, clean and scenic
I stayed here for one week. The hotel is located just behind the Rodos Palace hotel, and very close to the beach which is about 2 minutes walk away. The hotel is very clean and the rooms very spacious. I had a room with a sea view which overlooks the beach and provides a fantastic view of the beach and beyond. The staff I found very friendly. The breakfast here must be the best I have had anywhere. There is so much food it is impossible to eat all that is there. Even as a vegetarian I could have cereals, a cooked meal, and lots of fruits, sweets and yogurts. The hotel has a number of excellent swimming pools and two quite different restaurants. The gardens and surrounds are also exquisite. I could keep coming back here. The one down side is that the internet is really lousy and it is not worth your while paying the exhorbitant amounts for it. Most of the time it was so slow and impossible to use.
