4/10 Average

Overpriced for what you can get elsewhere

Unless you can get a special deal this is not worth the money. There are many more hotels in and around Bristol that are better located, of a higher standard and significantly better value for money. The room was of an average standard, the complimentary 1/2 bottle of wine helped offset the very average and overpriced room service menu. Breakfast was the same buffet style that you get everywhere and was certainly nothing special. Hilton will try and rip you off where ever possible. The hotel internet is £15 and I certainly resent paying £5 parking when the hotel is on an industrial estate and not even city centre.

The best thing about my stay was...

I got a deal so saved on the full price!

Review of 'HILTON BRISTOL'

We have stayed at this Hotel on three occasions over the last four years. We have two young children and, whilst they Hotel could have catered slightly better for our children's entertainment, we had a relaxing stay. We are thinking of booking again for this September if the weather holds out!!

The room was lovely. The Housekeeping staff were brilliant with the children. They made sure that they had plenty of colouring things (and shortbread biscuits!!!).

The Restaurant staff for friendly and professional. The children were given ice lollies due to the hot weather and the food was lovely. The restaurant was operating a "buffet" type service which was nice.

Despite its' Industrial Estate setting, we would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The only downside was the reception staff - cheer up ladies life's too short!!

Review of 'HILTON BRISTOL'

I booked a weekend break for my family (2 adults, 3 children) in a family room, with buffet breakfast and 1 evening meal included. On arrival, my room was not made up for my family, but this was quickly rectified and colouring books were left for the children. The health club facilities were excellent, the pool, steam room and jacuzzi were all enjoyed. The evening meal was a carvery, and they had a children's menu. The room was adequate, with 1 double bed, and a sofa which folded out into 2 single beds. With sofa converted there wasn't much room left in the room. Basic TV with no satellite channels, but pay per view movies and playstation games were available. Broadband internet was also available (extra cost I think). The bathroom was adequate also, 2 sinks, bath with overhead shower. Breakfast was very good, lots to choose from. The hotel bar was reasonable with a large screen TV with Sky (Football, etc). Location wise it is just off the M5 at the M4/M5 interchange, but is in a business park, so don't expect a decent view. I would definitely stay here again, the prices are reasonable - just a little more expensive than the budjet hotels but the facilities make the extra cost worth it.

Review of 'HILTON BRISTOL'

On a long journey down to Cornwall with 2 very young screaming kids with scenes from Shrek 'Are we there yet' ringing in your ears, the Hilton in Bristol was a welcome stop-off point. Clean family rooms and very friendly staff. Would definitely use it again as a stop-off in journey to the South.
