Compact clean resort - fantastic for older couples and families

What a fantastic resort spent a month here in July/ august with our children then a few days October just the two of us. The beach at las vistas is fantastic clean and safe. Ate out everyday lunch and dinner - never had a bad meal, ate tapas, Chinese, Italian, Lebanese etc. Fantastic. Enjoyed the boat trips smaller boats though not the big ones and the water sports and parks. All in all this is a fabulous resort with no hassle and a very safe atmosphere. I would say if you are club 18-30 type the resort would be too quiet, but we certainly found nitelife till 2 am in the morning which suited us.

Quiet friendly resort

Plenty of good restaurants to suit any pocket.PR people can get a bit trying as you are accosted every evening but most are pleasant enough just a couple were over the top so we chose not to give their venue a try.All the eateries we tried were fairly good value. Bus services good and cheap.

Love Los Cristianos

Los Cristianos is lovely and quiet with something for everyone. There are karaoke bars (which we dont like) but you can get away from them to find some nice Spanish bars and restaurants. It is a big place and great to explore. The beach front promenade is a great place to sit in typically Spanish bar/restaurant and watch the world go by whilst enjoying good reasonably price food and cheap beer at 1 euro a pint. There is a bus station, so you can travel all over the island by bus. Nice little beach. Felt very safe here with no hassle. Went in June - weather nice and hot, slightly cooler at night, but still able to sit in just t shirt and shorts. June is nice and quiet as schools not yet broken up.
