Good family destination

Small but fairly lively town on the coast. There is quite a long promenade with some nice bars, restaurants and cafes. A few english style pubs with quizzes etc as well. A couple of small (and fairly expensive) supermarkets. The place generally has a nice atmosphere and good mix of people. If you have a car there are plenty of places to visit nearby and we (family with kids) had plenty to keep us occupied for 2 weeks.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Good selection of places to eat and drink

Quiet resort

Very pretty resort. So quiet but close enough to lively lagos if it i's too quiet. Would recommend a car to see other resorts close by. Lovely beach but they do charge 12 euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella. Beautiful restaurants with lovely food. Would highly recommend the following restaurants. Yolo is an absolute must. The dolphin, barrocca, forteleza, A few bars but very quiet for nightlife. Very chilly at night so you will need something warm to wear as it's a very windy place. Lovely temperature during the day though.
