Ronda Hotels and Apartments
The spiritual and historical home of Spanish bullfighting, some of Ronda's architecture dates back to before the 15th century. The town itself is located high in the mountains of the Serrania de Ronda,on either side of the river Guadalevin which cuts its way through the deep ravine below. Aside from the usual bars and restaurants, there are a number of traditional shops to browse on the Calle Nueva pedestrian street.
Who should go?
Ronda is suited to visitors eager for culinary and scenic delights rather than commercial centres or adventure. There is little to entertain children. Those particularly keen to taste real Andalucian culture may wish to visit during the 20th and 23rd of May, for the annual bullfight celebrations and market.
The bullring is an ancient and beautiful building, and even when it is not in use contains an interesting museum dedicated to the history of bullfighting and Pedro Romero, the 18th century bullfighter who had a great influence on the 'sport' during his lifetime.

The ronda was well woprth a visit.
Lyn Fenton, Preston
The old town of Ronda was excellent with plenty to see. There are plenty of restaurants at resonable prices.
The best thing about my stay was ...
The unspoilt Spanish feel.
