9/10 Fantastic

Hotel staff

I have stayed at this hotel before and at the moment is going through a refurbishment. The Hotel staff Fatiha,Meryam, Mendih and Hamza the pool attendant were very friendly. The Hotel is in an ideal position as it is about 10 minutes walk to the beach and the shops are very close too. This Hotel is value for money and I will stay here again soon.

The best thing about my stay was...

I enjoyed the breakfast every morning and I had pool view sea view facing room. My Room was for single use, but had double bed.

Great time

The hotel is nice, most of the staff members are helpful, English language used by most. We had a room with balcony, fridge, the view was at the pool - very nice. We had half board (breakfast and dinner) - very good food, local and not only, with a huge variety - we stayed 11 nights and not eat twice the same food. We had a great time with our baby - 2 years old. The beach is at 10-12 min walk, if you know the shortcut :)). Loads of small supermarkets around, where you can buy anything - starting from booze to sim cards and all you need. Very nice hotel. Would go again sometime!

The best thing about my stay was...

The room was near the reception - we had Wifi all the time!

Disappointing. Not as expected.

I knew it was a risk booking this hotel from looking at the previous reviews. I would advise anyone wanting to book this hotel to certainly read the reviews before booking. The pictures of the hotel are definitely deceiving. Me and my husband stayed for 7 nights. Ground floor rooms are terrible, with health and safety hazards. We asked to be moved and the next day we did to a different room with a nice pool view. The room was cleaned daily. The general dark decor of the hotel is very dated and needs modernising and brightening. We went half board and dinner was okay. Breakfast was awful with not much variety and we had to pay for extra drinks and water separate! There is a convinient shop next door to the hotel, where the a bottle of water was a third of the price of what was being charged at the hotel! Local food shops are close, cheap and worth trying. Not much of a night life. There a few nights were we stayed out late and when we returned to the hotel the lights were turned off. We had to switch our phone lights on to see where we were going. Be careful if you do stay out late, as one night we witnessed a phone theft. The beach is a good 10 minute walk. Cleaner sand on this side than the other end which is packed and full of garbage and local beggers who harass you daily. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but don't think we would go back there again.

Read the reviews

We had dinner paid for but had to pay for water separate which was annoying ! They put us in a ground floor room which was horrible nothing worked , and early morning you can hear the cleaners , they changed us next day to a better room but why did we even have to experience that in the first place , messed up our anniversary night. Food was nice pool was nice , gym was grimey and some staff need to cheer up. Overall it was a decent stay and some of the staff we're very helpful.

The Bad & The Worst

First impressions are not always the lasting ones. We were looking forward to a relaxing finish to our holiday, unfortunately what a disaster. Our rooms on the ground floor were absolutely disgusting and had drain smells coming through. We were told they would change our rooms the next morning. We had to think twice about sleeping in the beds, my husband refused to. They did not change our rooms till 4pm the next day, we had to go backwards and forwards to choose the rooms that looked habitable, in other words we lost almost 2 days of our stay. The restaurant staff were so rude till we complained, yet some of them still remained rude. We were 3 families who had booked 7 rooms for 8 nights. We couldn't understand how this hotel is rated 4 star. We would seriously think twice before giving it 3 star. The in house hammam experience was absolutely disgusting, no cleanliness or hygiene considered at all. The staff so rude. Overall left a bad end to our holiday.

The best thing about my stay was...

There wasn't much to like, just glad the receptionist was helpful and that we had each other.

Amazing place, good price and excellent location

The hotel was very clean and beautiful, the staff was friendly and fluent with English and the pool area was really great. The hotel was also situated right between the beach and the city centre so it was easy to get around Agadir. The food was priced ok, and the rooms were in excellent condition with air conditioning. The only minus sides were the long walk to our room that was at the end of one of the wings, and the quite horrible coffee they served with breakfast

The best thing about my stay was...

The pool area was amazing for the price and there were always free chairs.
8/10 Great

Spotless, great location

Hotel was lovely and a stones throw away from the beach, shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and hotel was spotlessly clean. Pool was lovely as were the bar and chill out area. Only thing I was disappointed with was the food. Expected lots of tagines etc but it seemed to be more European dishes and breakfast was just pastries and sometimes eggs. Overall it was an absolute bargain and would definitely go back.
