Alan Brown, Glasgow
We stayed here for 1 night on Sunday 24th. May 2015 paid £80 for bed and breakfast for the 2 of us. Good vale for a London hotel. Excellent transport links to Heathrow and central London, City airport almost on the door!! Only downside is poor fitting window blinds that light in.
The best thing about my stay was...Good value and good breakfast

The Heat Trap Literally
"I stayed at this hotel overnight whilst on a trip to London a couple of weeks ago, and I was quite disappointed. As soon as I got into my room, a horrible attacked my nostrils. It was exceptionally hot that day, and the room was like a heat trap. I turned the air-conditioning on, and it had minimal power, and made no difference. My room happened to be right next to the DLR railway station, and behind that was London City Airport. I could constantly hear the announcer from the train station, and aeroplanes landing/taking off-despite the window being closed. I attempted to open the window due to the hot temperatures, and it was restricted (I fully understand why), but it was far too hot. The bathroom was very much like a caravan, and there was nowhere near enough room to take a shower. Furthermore, when trying to leave my room, one of the staff members of the hotel advised me to stay in my room at night, even though I wanted to get out to find some lower temperatures/a breeze of cool air. My friends' room next door was appalling. They found toe-nail clippings, urine stains, pubic hairs, and god knows what in their beds and on the floor. Thankfully, my room was very clean. Even though some of my friends informed me that their cereal tasted stale, I couldn't fault the breakfast. I also cannot fault the beds, as they were reasonably comfortable-just like marshmallows. Overall, I have reached the conclusion that this hotel isn't the worst I've ever been in, but it certainly was not a pleasant night spent in the heat trap. I suppose you can't "grumble" at the standards of this hotel for the reasonable price of one night, BUT, I was expecting a lot more from a top hotel in London."
The best thing about my stay was...Breakfast.

Carol Richardson , Portsmouth
Friendly staff, lovely clean rooms with fairly new fixtures and fittings, a little cosy but had everything we needed. Perfect for convenience of location to the 02 and just next door to the tube. Would happily return.

OK for one night
The hotel was very basic. I would be very annoyed if I paid the actual price the hotel was quoting £125 a night. The room was small but it had everything we needed. The bathroom was like a porter loo but clever design. Breakfast was tasteless and a rip off.

Business stay - solo traveller.
_, Northern England
The hotel is next to the Excel exhibition centre and about 15 minutes from Canary Wharf. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Its a fairly decent hotel for a solo traveller on a budget. Hotel seems safe for a solo traveller. No real issues.
