Not that great as last year
I was in this hotel last year and I loved it. This year was also great but I was disappointed about the food. I still like the room , very clean as the rest of the hotel. The nicest staff on the reception ever. Dolores is the star of the Reception staff. Always smiling and very helpful. Also Christina always with smile and very polite behaviour. I have a very bad memory for names so I hope I cached them well :) Also the gentelmen from restaurant who was greeting us at the entrance always with a smile deserve a big thank you. They all let us feel welcome there and I hope to come back next year again. The one thing was the food. Last year so big choice and great quality this year we had Hamburgers twice a week. I do not like them at all and I hope this will change for next year. Also the swimming pool with the music wasn't great. Many people had to take the sun band them self to put them around the pool. I think that they should be ready for customers there. It was a bit funny that we had to handle them and put them around the pool :(. I love the one thing about this hotel and that is why I keep coming back. The breakfast is served till 12pm and that is how it should be in the hotels like that. I could have a longer sleep and still get the nice breakfast :) Thank you Invisa Es Pla!

Clean at least
This was our third time in Ibiza. I booked a double room with pool view. Got checked in no problems, got to the room to find it was a twin, returned to reception they tried to locate me a double room with a pool views they couldn't but then the management argued with me stating that the twin room was in fact a double room. Which lets face it a twin is a twin and a double bed is a double bed. Simple really. So in the end had to pick either a double bed or the pool view I couldn't have both. You have to pay to use the safe in the room €3 per day which I asked to be waived because of room hiccup, they refused and basically said tough. Delightful management yet again. The walls are paper thin, so unless you like noise which you should probably have some tolerance to anyway coming to Ibiza in the first place then be prepared for teenage something year olds screaming and dancing all hours whilst they get ready to go out and then again when they come home. We like the night life too but are always respectful to other hotel guests. Also if you get a room on the first floor you will hear everything from the lobby aswell as it echoes theoughout. Good bits, breakfast is nice and plenty have of choice and runs til lunchtime 12pm. Also room and hotel areas were very very clean which is always good.
The best thing about my stay was...Location is good.

Lovely hotel in a great location close to everything San Antonio has to offer. Rooms clean, bit on the small side. Fridge in room big enough for water and cans/bottles of beer. 2 pools, one that plays background music and the other has louder modern music and activities around the pool. The only problem I had with this hotel was, after returning from Formentera all day, we got to our room to find the door had been left wide open by the maid for hours (we got back at 8.15pm). Luckily I had paid for a safe otherwise I dread to think what would have happened to our money and belongings. The room had been cleaned and made up and we did not find anything had been taken but I don't think you should have to pay for a safe for your items to actually be safe, it was just for extra piece of mind. Spoke to reception who asked me to speak to manager the next day which I did and she spoke to head maid in front of me, they both seemed shocked it had happened and said they would check cctv to see if anyone went in. That day when we came back the room hadn't been touched, not cleaned or bed made. Don't know if this was a result of speaking to them (I did not make a complaint, just made them aware) so we hung the 'please make up my room' sign on the door and had no more problems. When looking at reviews for the hotel it was advised to ask for a room away from the lift as it was really noisy with people constantly walking past all night, I did request this but was put in the room closest to the lift. I would definitely recommend staying away from the lift. The 3 points above are the only negatives I had in this hotel. Stayed b&b and the breakfast was great, something for everyone. Hotel was spotless and air conditioned throughout which was a welcome relief from the heat outside.
The best thing about my stay was...Clean hotel, central location

Best value hotel in San Antonio
Sally vicars, Sheffield
The Es pla is in an amazing location only 5 mins walk to the front and bang in the middle of everything. Staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Its very laid back and they let you swap your dinner for lunch if your half board. You also get unlimited drinks with your meals which is very rare on half board basis. Although this is an adult only hotel in the centre of San antonio there were no loud yobs about. We could relax in the day. The bar prices are very reasonable but no one seemed bothered if you had you're own food and drink around the pool - there is a lidl just around the corner which is very cheap. You get a fridge in your room so can stock up. The bathrooms have been refurbished and are really nice and maid service is very good. I love Ibiza and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
The best thing about my stay was...Amazing value for money, location

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms and other areas are kept clean. There are two pools one with music and a quiet one both are really nice, the pool area is kept clean and tidy and so are the pools, the food was nice, we chose the half board option with drinks, so we had wine beer and soft drinks with meals, we got a bit bored with the breakfast choice as they didn't change it much but they did with the evening meals and everything I tried was nice and hot. The staff are absolutely amazing! Especially the reception staff, so friendly and helpful and good with giving information, can't fault the hotel and will be returning next year! We went for a girls holiday and the mix of people made it nice as it wasn't a rowdy hotel full of drunks,
The best thing about my stay was...Choice of pools, location and staff!
