The Truth, The Whole Truth & Nothing but the Truth!

Marinda Garden Apartments are in the lovely resort of Calan Bosch, the resort is suitable for both families & couples, although the transfer time is around 1 hour and 15 mins. The Apartments themselves are basic, dated with the internal layout being somewhat cramped and awkward. We had some plaster peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom and some electricity cables showing behind the mirror (although these were out of reach of children). Downstairs are dark inside ie. insufficient brightness from internal lights and outdoor terrace open - not great with an unbiddable 2 year old! Upstairs are supposed to be brighter with a more private balcony, but we didn't ask to change as we were worried our toddler would fall off balcony. However, the cleaning service was excellent in the apartment, communal and pool areas. No broken glass or rubbish anywhere. The pool area was large with a separate deep end and a separate toddler pool. Also the Aqua Rock park next door is exceptionally clean, bright and well equipped. Get your FREE wristbands at reception of M.G. Thomas Cook Kids Club entertainment was held throughout the day and was good. M.G. entertainment programme also excellent. Childrens Evening entertainment on some evenings seemed to cater more for German, Italian and Spanish, but the kids still danced and enjoyed it. Food was tolerable, plentiful and well organised.
The best thing about my stay was...We enjoyed the pool area, the kids club/entertainment, aqua rock and Calan Bosch.

Very Nice :)

I stayed here with my Mum,Brother and stepdad from May 9th to 20th 2011. Overall it was a nice place. The rooms were outdated but you don't stay in a room all holiday so it doesn't matter. I do not know what someone was on about with ant infestations? We had a lower floor apartment and had a verander on the main path to the pool, which was not amazing but ok. We went self catering and found a lovely bar at the marina called Las Tapas. The waiters were ecceptional and played with my brother. We went there almost everyday. On the site its self its nice. There was a nice little shop and Eva the woman who worked there was very nice when my brother fell and cut himself. The staff are nice but we didn't use the evening entertainment. The pool was nice but a bit cold and the music they played around the pool was good apart from one song which repeted what the **** which judging by the fact there was young kids around is innepropriate. There was a bus stop to Cuitadella outside the resort and a little walk to San Xoriguer beach which is beautiful. Half way through our stay AquaRock opened. Very nice (apart from paying for sun loungers) went down every slide and had great fun! I would go again!
The best thing about my stay was...Meeting Friends in the pool!

Fantastic time at Marinda Gardens.

Just got back from a 2 week stay at Marinda Gardens. This is our 3rd stay here and we`ve had a great time. The apartments are very dated but clean. We always ask for a first floor apartment as ground floor do suffer with ants. Also the first floors have nice big balconies. The entertainment staff are excellent and very hard working. There`s a mini disco for the young ones everynight and also good adult entertainment which is suitable for children. The pool area is very nice and quite big. We went self catering so can`t comment on the food.Calan Bosch has a lovely marina with some really nice restaurants. We really liked a restaurant called Bahia which did excellent food. you`ve also got Goody Goody which is a play ara for the children.
The best thing about my stay was...Everything

HALLAS FAMILY, HOLMFIRTH
WE HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM MARINDA GARDENS WHERE WE HAD A LOVELY HOLIDAY. IT WAS OUR SECOND TIME THERE AND IT WAS EQUALLY AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TIME IN 2009. THE MAID SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND ROOMS ARE CLEANED DAILY APART FROM WEDS AND SUN. THE APARTMENT WAS ROOMY AND HAD A HUGH BALCONY. HAVE TO SAY THOUGH, WOULD NOT BE HAPPY WITH A GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT DUE TO HAVING A VERY LITTLE OVERLOOKED PATIO AREA TO SIT. OUR CHILDREN WERE WELL ENTERTAINED AS WELL AS MY HUSBAND, WHO ALSO WON MEDALS AND CERTIFICATES FOR JOINING IN ALL THE SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES. THE HOTELS OWN ENTERTAINMENT TEAM DID A FANTASTIC JOB DAY AND NIGHT. THE HOTEL HAS A DISCOUNTED TICKET PRICE FOR THE AQUAPARK NEXT DOOR (IF YOU DIDN'T TRAVEL WITH T.C.) AND THE HOTEL STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL 24 HOURS. WE WENT ON 19TH JULY AND OUR FIRST WEEK WAS PEACEFUL BUT IT DID GET ALITTLE BUSY AROUND THE POOL THE SECOND WEEK WHICH IS TO BE EXPECTED AT THE START OF THE KIDS HOLIDAY PERIOD. NOT ONE TO GET UP AT 6AM TO PUT TOWELS ON SUNBEDS, BUT WE MANAGED TO FIND SPARE BEDS EVERYDAY, EXCEPT FOR ONE WHEN WE DIDN'T GET TO THE POOL UNTIL 10.30AM. THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND VARIED WITH LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM AND THEY CATERED FOR CHILDRENS TASTE TOO.
The best thing about my stay was...RELAXING AND ENJOYABLE
