Review of 'Meson de la Molinera'

A beautiful setting overlooking lake Arcos and Arcos de la fronterra. The room was clean and tidy, fresh towels everyday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had a small terrace overlooking the garden which had a table and chairs so that we could sit in the sun. The restaurant also overlooked the lake and you could dine inside or outside. The menu was very spanish, offering a good selection of tapas, wines, beers and spirts at a fairly reasonable price. I would say that a car is essential for getting around, if you want to get a taxi at night to go into Arcos it will cost between 8 and 9 euros each way. Tea and coffee making facilities are not available in the rooms and there are only spanish channels available on the television.<br />learn some spanish before you go because most bars, restaurants, and shops do not speak english.
