Lovely complex overall, minor issues.
Rachel, United Kingdom
We stayed at the Olympic Lagoon, as our friends were getting married here. It is a beautiful complex, and fulfilled all our needs, especially with a hotel shop, supermarket & and a taxi rank right outside. We did however feel the food was of poor quality. We appreciate it is a buffet style dining room, however the quality of food did not represent the 4.5 stars that this hotel is deemed to have. The American Diner was by far our favourite place to eat, with a free juke box and gorgeous milkshakes. We had a pool view room, which was lovely, and was even giving complimentary cake and champagne for my birthday whilst we was there, however there was ants all over the room, especially behind the air con controller - which was a saviour for whilst we was out. The baths are a little slim, which makes turning around quite a challenge. The morning of my friends wedding, we ordered room service, however our card wasn't collected and I had to run it to reception. The mother of the bride also had the same issue. Once taken to reception, they was efficient in bringing the food up. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and the staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. The lazy river was our highlight, when it got a little too warm, a relaxing trip on the lazy river was the perfect cool off.
The best thing about my stay was...The lazy river.

A fantastic holiday
Gary, Ellesmere Port
I recently stayed at the Olympic Lagoon resort with my Father and close family/friends and it was simply fantastic. Great location, the staff were all absolutely amazing. Lots of things to do as well as we had a kids of different ages with us. Very clean, great choice of different foods. I would definitely go back to the same place and have already recommended the hotel and Alpharooms to several friends.
The best thing about my stay was...Everything. Simply can't name one

Best all inclusive that I've stayed in
Alex Scarlett , Wales
We were here as part of a wedding (40 guests altogether and not one of us had a single complaint. Our ages ranged from 3 -55 and they catered for everyone. Service was second to none and the drink choice was vast. Loved the fact that you get prosecco included!
The best thing about my stay was...The hospitality was amazing. Huge range of food and drink and great kids club

Amazing resort which was extremely child oriented. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and facilities were brilliant. The only negative was that the pools were absolutely freezing but we did go on the first day of opening for the season and the weather wasn't amazing. Restaurants are good with great choice of dishes.
The best thing about my stay was...The entertainment for the children was outstanding and staff were all great without exception.

Loved loved loved it! There's nothing not to like. Food was amazing, staff were attentive and friendly the pool bar and it's staff were fast and fun! The facilities offered something for everyone and you could either get involved or just sit it out, whatever your mood. We were a family of 4 with 2 older teens. During the day we'd chill by the pool but intermittently get involved with the water games/activities hosted by the Allstar team (I'll come back to them later) Waterpolo was hilariously funny and breaks up the day. Olympic Park is a popular wedding venue with big wedding parties sometimes monopolising the hotel. We arrived at the hotel while a wedding was in progress and it was beautiful to watch although I felt a little bit of a gate crasher. With the volume of weddings you soon get over the initial feeling of unwanted guest. Lol In retrospect what having big wedding parties brings to the hotel is a good atmosphere and camaraderie around the pool and brings people together. Drinks! Drink selection from the pool bar/cinnamon bar was impressive. A huge range of cocktails were available and considering this would normally slow service it didn't impede on service whatsoever. Service remained fast and efficient throughout the day and the whole holiday. People who stood out was Stevo, a real likable geezer who's very personable and friendly. Yainnis and Andreas also worked hard and fast and were also very charming The food. breakfast lunch and dinner was plentiful and delicious. Guests have the option to either sit indoors or outside on the veranda plus there's an adult only area to sit. A nice touch. Actually while on the subject the hotel is considerate to every demographic. There is adult only areas throughout the hotel as well as areas/food station specifically for younger guests. Norbett and Elena were 2 other little gems that stood out. They're also 2 members that made our stay special. Guests had the option to make reservation at the captains restaurant and the Japanese. They're both al a carte and offer a change to the main buffet restaurant on site. Our room was adequate. Probably on the small side if I'm honest and a wee bit dated. the biggest major annoyance was it only had ONE plug socket, ladies will appreciate this perhaps more than the gents but I having to alternative the iPad charger, Samsung charger, hairdryer and hair straighteners isn't convenient and that's just mine, the bloke had to wait his turn to use the only solo socket. Aircon was great, wifi was great, everything was great! The animation team were lovely and talented and patient. I won't lie it took a while for me to warm to them and I was initially perhaps slightly irritated by them collectively but I soon got over myself and actually really appreciated just how long and hard they do work, it's not all jass hands and cabaret, they put in a lot of effort making their performances outstanding and then they get up, entertain the little darlings all day while also keeping amused the adults and doing it with smiles on their faces. Location is fantastic. The famous Nissi beach is in walking distance (behind Adams hotel) but the closer Landa beach and Makronissos beach are by far nicer, cleaner beaches and a lot less crowded. In short I would go back, I would highly recommend to a friend and would gladly do it all over again (wishful thinking) Thank you to everyone at Olympic Lagoon, from Corrina Dan Dylan and Lauren. Hope to see you again some day soon
The best thing about my stay was...loved everything about it!

We travelled to this hotel for a wedding with our 10 month old son. I was concerned about the heat in August and finding food suitable for my son. I didn't need to worry, the food quality and choice was fantastic. The hotel couldn't do enough for us to help with travelling with a young child. They provided a steriliser in our room and the restaurants were helpful with heating up food and bottles. The service at the hotel was also very good. The pools are clean and tidy and could always get a sun lounger. The entire hotel is kept very clean. The setting was beautiful. The wedding ceremony especially. The only thing that annoyed us was that we had a late flight back, so wanted a late check up. The standard check out is 12pm. We extended our room to 4pm and it cost us 55 Euros.

Olympic lagoon hotel

We arrived at approximately shortly after 1am having been delayed in the uk, the hotel were advised in advance that I was gluten free, however the best they could offer at this time was tomato and cucumber and a dish of peanuts? Our room that had been booked about a twelve months earlier was not available, we were offered a bungalow with a plunge pool until our room was ready, this was running with ants that by morning had totally invaded our suitcases? We were disturbed at about 8am by a maid who just let herself in, we then received a phone call from reception to vacate the bungalow ASAP,our room would not be ready until 12.30 lunchtime, we managed to find the rep who went to reception and was then told it would be ready at 11.30,the bathroom again had ants running around the floor, the wall tiles were badly cracked and in our opinion was in need of repair, the hotel does not cater for gluten intolerance even though they indicate they do, it's a matter of eating what is there, however the chefs will tell you what is wheat and gluten free, I ate mostly salad as the choice was very restricted,
The best thing about my stay was...Outside area
