Stopped here many times friendly staff ,kept clean some rooms rather tired ,ideal location across from wet and wild ,20 mins. Walk to universal complimentary shuttle to parks very reliable driver will stop here again no problem.
The best thing about my stay was...the fact that i know what to exspect and i am never disappointed.

Great location, great price
Lee Hales, England
This was my 4th stay at the Continental Plaza and having and after this visit would definitely come here again. As a was looking to book for this trip I gave other hotels serious consideration as last years stay (2014) was disappointing. Last year I had a ground floor room which was not particularly clean and had a damp problem as previous guests/staff had switched the air con off which can lead to problems in this style of hotel. This year however I booked again due to price and location and hoped for the best. I was pleasantly surprised when checking in as the 2nd floor room I was allocated was really clean and comfortable. This was more like my first 2 stays in 2007 & 2013. The rooms are basic but cleaned daily with clean towels daily. The rooms are very basic but have hot water, clean beds, TV & an in-room safe. There is only a $2 per night resort fee and no other fees or deposits required which is also a big plus as others have deposits or much higher resort fees. The biggest plus for this hotel has always been its location. Wet n Wild is across the street, Walgreens is 2 mins walk if you require anything and Universal & Islands of adventure are 15 mins walk. Local buses stop just outside also. The staff are also very pleasant and efficient. My big recommendation would be to have Wi-fi available in all rooms.
The best thing about my stay was...Price and location are excellent

Cheap and cheerful
Cheap and cheerful. A bit tired and dated but clean with decent service. Great location on I Drive for all amenities. You get what you pay for so what more do you expect for under £30 per night for 2!!

Great buget Hotel
Mel Simms, Mildenhall Suffolk
After reading some poor reviews of this hotel, I was very pleased to find them all wrong. The hotel is a little dated. But for a buget hotel it was great. I had booked 2 rooms for my adult sons, and myself. The rooms were clean and the beds were very good. Internet in the lobby was free. The staff were very helpful. The safe in my sons room was locked when we arrived. They came up and opened it as soon as we called the desk. The pool was heated. And was cleaned every morning. I would be very happy to stay here again. Fantistic location.

Prob not the worst but wouldn't stay again!
Sacha Callaghan, Coatbridge
Just bac from this accomadation ,don't usually write review but this place is in desperate need of a make over !like most we were only looking for somewhere to sleep at nite cause there so much to do with parks ect, staff were very gd I asked to change rooms on first nite due to damp smell in room ! Changed no prob next mornin when a room was free , only 1 ice machine in hotel and was broke when we arrived and was still broke wen we left ! Maid service weren't to gd either had to ask for towels on more than 1 occasion as they didn't replace the ones the removed but overall if they would just spend some money on freshening up the rooms with paint ,new beds it would make it a nicer place to stay !!!

No frills - But good location
Richard Martin, Shoreham-By-Sea
Just came back from staying a week at the hotel, definitely a no-thrills place but everything in our room worked and beds were made every day so no complaints about that. The wi-fi is only available from the lobby and pool area at the front of the building, which meant the lobby did tend to get full of teenagers during the evenings connecting to it. The people who work on the excursions desk were really helpful and helped us out on numerous occasions, can't fault their efforts and generosity during our stay. The best thing about this place is the location to the Universal Studios resort, it appears to be the nearest hotel to the resort without actually being on site and is about a 10 min walk meaning we spent nearly every night there. Considering how cheap the hotel was and how many hotels there are on international drive down the road which have nothing but hotels on either side then this is a huge selling point for the hotel. Overall, if you are visiting Orlando and planning to make the most of it by visiting and getting out as much as possible (especially Universal studios & Islands of adventure) then this no-frills hotel is ideal.

Very Noisey,Unclean,Horrible hotel
wests, united kingdom
i had stayed here last year, arrived to find the carpet near the sink was soaking wet which to find the sink did not have an overflow which must have caused this flood, the room smelt damp and mouldy for days later...i had to go and buy batteries to use in the room safe and had to go and buy a kettle from the local supermarket..there was no alarm clock or iron so i reported these to the reception which they said i would have to come back as they only have afew which were being used by other residents...the following morning we went round for breakfast only to find toast & cereal on offer..you DONT get what you see in picture,i thought it would have different foods on other days but we stopped for 18 days and everyday it was the same food...acouple of days into the holiday we found nearly every other night everyone comes alive around 11pm and continues through the night, lots of people running around laughing, shouting, screaming and standing right outside of the rooms chatting away for hours...we went out asking the people to respect us and keep the noise down as we had little children trying to sleep, they would apologise but it still never stopped them making noise 10 minutes later...when you've been out allday trecking the parks all we wanted to do is rest for the next day ahead but this contunued to happened..we reported it to the reception but nothing much got done about it...i would definately NOT stay in this motel again even if it was free!..please bare this information in mind before booking your holiday.
The best thing about my stay was...spending time away from this motel!
