Fun and fab for families in a welcome to Turkey way!!!
Heather , Glasgow, Scotland
We had a great fortnight hear and would have stayed longer! The pool is brilliant and the slide is amazing! Like mini rapids! So prepared to get hurled around. The balcony at the bar is so pretty to sit at. Looks over the whole town. Very relaxing. My family enjoyed the daily pool games, water polo and aerobics. Always brought a bit of competition and a laugh. Some night time entertainment was fun too. The team try hard with Ginger Boy (Lasha) leading the way....always energetic!!! The Turkish Bath is well worth the visit. Very good value for money compared to what you would pay in the UK. Our room was very spacious with comfortable beds. Clean too. Generally the hotel is spacious and the staff were friendly and responded well if you make the effort with them as many have limited English. Would I go back? Definitely!! However there are lots of little issues as I believe the owners are not putting the money back into what could be a 4/5 star place. More variety of drinks is needed at the bar and more stock as sometimes they ran out. They need ice machines. Little things around the apartments like broken handles, fridges that aren’t cold enough. Broken sun loungers. If you can accept the ‘Welcome to Turkey’ ....it is what it is...and relax about such things and acknowledge the price you are paying then you will have fun here! The food is nice but very much their cuisine. Always something to eat if you are happy and willing to try different foods. Burgers and chips available from 11 till 5 at the pool. Location is excellent. Handy for shops, restaurants and the beach. WiFi in the lobby and the nearest restaurant...Shanghai is fab! Spikey meets you at the door. Makes a point of remembering your name and always makes you feel welcome. Good prices and free WiFi. Night and day manager were helpful and friendly to myself and my family. Service can be slow and sometimes some staff have a very complacent manner.
The best thing about my stay was...Having fun by the pool, relaxing on the balcony and generally feeling welcomed!

I've been here for 12 days with my family (2 adults and 2 children) Upon arrival, the first time we got a double room, but five minutes later, the family room has! :-) The staff was very friendly and helpful!:-) The staff was very friendly and helpful! We were very pleased. The food was delicious. Full-day animation made sure not to get bored. The beach is a short walk away. There are many steps, but at least it was moving picked up in excess of meals! :-) However, the cleaning and the purity was not suitable for us. The pools were also very pleasant. The kids loved the slide. Overall, it was a pleasant our holiday!
The best thing about my stay was...The food and the pool

I love palm gardens
Courtney , Hereford england
I've been staying in palm gardens for 6 years now, and I can honestly say it the most amazing place I've ever been, the staff there are like my family, all so friendly and always want to make your holiday special, the entertainment is basically 24hours, I couldn't ask for better, the food is very nice, depending on what you like, yes fair enough it's like a fancy 5 course meal in a posh restaurant, but it's nice, a variety of foods for all ages, the location is perfect for if you like to party, it's like a 5 min walk from bar street, but even though you're so close I couldn't hear the music! This hotel does have many steps, but also there is some ramps, but there are many steps! Apart from that this hotel is the best, I love it! It's great for teenagers, young children, but wouldn't say it's for an old couple!
The best thing about my stay was...Everything?

Rooms were filthhy had £300 pinched out of a locked suitcase when complained about it had a very frosty reception off the manager which basically meant i wouldnt have a cat in hells chance of getting it back x we asked for adjoining rooms with our friends and ended up in the next block. Food was very bland. If your going there please be very careful with your valuables the maids are very light fingered

Great value for money
Chris, Tywyn, Mid Wales
We arrived just after the restaurant was closeing but we were taken directly there and served with a smile. Room (0n same level as reception) was clean with double and single bed so ample room. When we had a problem with a leak from the basin tap it was repaired that day, as was water problems that our daughter and partner experienced in their room. Food was good, varied and plentiful. It was quiet as we arrived in the second week of May but livened up when approx 120 young Turkish students arrived for three days - this did not spoil our holiday, although queueing was alien to them. We ate out on three nights, but not because we were dissatisfied with the hotel food, just for variety. We are hoping to return.
The best thing about my stay was...The restaurant staff

Horrible - DO NOT GO THERE
Mohamad and Nivine, Greve, Denmark
We stayed at this hotel from the 28.-30 aug. 2011. We had reserved a family room, but got a single with extra beds. We were 4 persons - 2 adults and two children. They had no baby cot. The bathroom was horrible. The dusch did not funktion. It was dirty and there was no shampoo? We got only two towels and two more after 4 calls. There All-inclusive is realy a joke. The worst hotel in my life - I have visited more than 200 hotels. Do`nt do it.

turkey YES palm garden NO
Mrs Mair, Aberdeen
palm garden hotel is definately not a 4 star hotel some of the rooms are not even fit for a dog we had 3 room changes the first was like a dungeon room 157 my little girl was so scared to stay there that she cried. We went up the many steps to reception to ask for another room to be told the hotel is full but luckily there was one room but it was being cleaned we went to have a look and it was a little bit better not much but a little no tele no fridge but there was air con. by thursday 2 days into our holiday this room 242 didnt have electric and was told it would take about 2 hours to fix so the manager gave us another room 407 which was heaven compared to the other 2 slums. restaurant is okay only 5 cooked dishes to pick from childrens buffet only 2 to pick from the main pool well we were there for 1 week and never got a sunlouger there that is where the snack and juice bar is people set their alarms at 5.30 and put towels on loungers then go back to their bed or go on trips we went to the other pool but when you need juice and snacks you have to walk a bit to get your stuff and carry it back and steps well i hope you like steps as there is no lift at all and you have to climb loads of steps when you first arrive there a bellboy will help you down the steps but when its time to go you have to climb the steps with your luggage yourself to the top where the main reception is not many of the staff speak english so it can be quite hard to get them to understand. the only good thing about this hotel is the location it is nice and central and you go down the steps and your on to the main street with plenty of shops. the shopkeepers are very friendly and once you get to know them can do you some great deals. I would go back to gumbet but would not stay at the palm garden hotel there is definatly better hotels out there. the main part of the hotel is nice but the rooms need knocking down and rebuilt they are so horrible.
The best thing about my stay was...turkish bath in the hotel see justin
