Disappointing return visit
This was our 7th visit and very disappointing. Room floors not as clean as we were used to. More like an 18-30 hotel this time which isn't great when you have a 4 year old. Covered bar area right next to our balcony resulting in smoking, swearing and drunken behaviour inches away. And litter on our balcony in the morning.
The best thing about my stay was...Staff cheerful especially pool barman.

Lovely clean hotel, good location.
Had a really enjoyable time at The Dimitrion. Our room and the hotel in general was clean. Food was basic and not much to chose from but there was always enough to go around everyone. Pasta, fresh salad and meat daily. Drinks were again very basic, only water, lager, wine, soft drinks, brandy, raki and ouzo were included in all inclusive deal, no vodka etc. and the bar shut at 10pm. The reception staff and pool bar guy were all very friendly. Pool was good. Only a short stroll to the beach, only went once as it was very rocky but heard there's better beaches if you travel a little further. Lots of bars and restaurants along the beachfront. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Great location.

Good no frills but clean hotel
Jvl , Staffordshire
I had read mixed reviews for this hotel but as it was just a 4 night stay took the risk, turned out to be a clean and basic hotel, arrived late evening, was given all Inc band, a/c remote, kettle and tea making equipment at no extra charge, receptionist was polite and friendly, room was clean but basic, everything worked, pool view with balcony. The meals were OK, not fantastic but your not going to starve, always bread, fruit, pasta and salads at meal times, all Inc drinks were water, tea, coffee, lattes, lager, wine, ouzo, raki, brandy and soft drinks, pool bar guy was brilliant he serves on the pool bar 10am to 10pm and also assists in the dining room for meals, it was early season and the hotel was quiet not sure how this would work out in busy times. Pool and pool area small but clean again as it was quiet time never any problem with sun loungers. The location was brilliant, walk out the hotel and right into the main street with all the shops, bars and restaurants, turn left for a 10 min stroll down to the harbour area, turn right for a 15 min stroll to star beach, for what we paid I couldn't complain, maybe wouldn't stay all Inc for lo get than 4 days though as the food gets a bit repetitive but then you can always eat out some nights. Towels and bedding was refreshed on our 3rd day. As our flight home was not until the evening we were offered to keep our room on until transfers came for an extra 20 euro.
The best thing about my stay was...Central location and clean rooms

You get what you pay for
Just back from a 4 night stay at Dimitrion, I had read mixed reviews for this hotel particularly about the food and as we had booked all inc we went with the intention of eating out most nights. Hotel...It was the start of the season and the hotel was quiet only about 30 rooms in use, on arrival we were offered a kettle and iron for our room, given the air con remote control (which were not charged for even though some reviews were saying it was 5eu per night for air con) the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, we were in a twin room on the first floor with pool view and balcony, the room was basic but clean, our sheets and towels were changed on the 3rd day and room was cleaned every other day, the shower was a bit of a dribble but we got by. Pool area was clean with plenty of loungers available as it was quiet, pool bar man is fantastic he runs the bar from 10am to 10pm and also helps in the dining room at meal times, fantastic bloke always saying no stress no stress you on holiday or shouting Raki time everyone shaky shaky lol pool music a bit annoying after the second day though. Food and Drink... It was a bit repetitive I wouldnt have coped if staying longer but we knew this before we booked, breakfast is a selection of cold meats and cheese, fruit, fresh breads (no toast though) jams etc, cereals, pastries and some days eggs or omelette or beans and cake lol yes cake with every meal. Lunch and dinner were pretty much the same, salads, pastas, breads, there were cooked hot meats but I did not try them all although the spinach pie was lovely and the fish, and again desserts were cake, jelly, fruit and blancmange or angel delight type of thing. All inc drinks were tea, coffees, water, fruit juices, beer, wine, Raki (dont do it trust me) ouzo or brandy all other spirits had to be paid for but were not mega expensive, cocktails were 6 euros. At the end of the day you get what you pay for ....we paid about £15 per night each and we had at least our monies worth just in drinks around the pool all day, I could not complain about the hotel but I do not think I would stay all Inc for more than 4 or 5 days there. Location... Brilliant, could not have wished for a more central location, you can walk to Star beach or the harbour from here, wander around all the shops and bars, everything is within walking distance. Wifi at the hotel is poor, you have to keep logging on every 2 minutes and its slow but it was just enough to send a few holiday pics back home and check on things. One tip for eating out, try The White Lion just a few doors away up the road, fab little bar and the food is lovely.
The best thing about my stay was...Central location

Friendly staff, especialy pool barman, very nice and modern reception area but rooms definitely need reconstruction (esp bathroom). Very good food, great location for night life. We arrived very late (after midnight) and they left sandwiches and waters in our room fridge for us - very appreciated.
The best thing about my stay was...Very friendly pool barman

Stayed here many times, always good. However the modernisation touches greatly received! I'm sure many more to come will just improve further. Very clean hotel, room service thorough, polite staff. Maybe a little noisy in early hours when people coming home, banging doors etc but minimal and bearable. Nice pool bar, good beer. Although not sure why we couldn't purchase snack? Told they were for the all inclusive guests despite the price list evident. So can pay for drinks but not food?????? Lovely clean pool and sun trap area.

Room with a great pool view! very clean, nothing to much trouble for chamber maid. Bathroom a bit dissapointing, small, needed a few touch ups but again very clean. Regular towel and sheet changes. Reception staff very helpful and friendly as always.

good spacious, clean hotel
LBJ, rochdale Lancashire uk
We had been to Hersosnissos before so were not worried about the resort. After reading reviews from other sites about this hotel we were very sceptical! The rooms were spacious and cleaned every day, towels were changed once in the week but im sure could have been more if asked, my sister in law asked for extra pillows on the first morning and the were in the room before the end of the afternoon. The pool area is a good size and clean, the pool side bar was not open but its late in the season. The staff were helpful and mostly friendly, the reception bar was not manned but drinks available on request. The only downside was the brerakfast just cold and very continental so we never bothered, plenty of places to get a decent cooked breakfast, E.g The white Lion further down the main st. or Averinos.
