Average quality hotel
We stayed at hotel this june, there were many mosquitos, so we called this hotel "Mosquito bay", air conditioning costs 10 eur per day, but if you don't buy it, it will be too hot to sleep or mosquitos will disturb to do that. Food - breakfast were poor, dinner better, but lunch were really great and plenty, different every day, just too less fresh vegetables, especially tomatoes, mostly tried to take them off from greek salad :) There are few bars, especially great pool bar that has stunning sea view and is very romantic to be here in the evening. As advantage - pool for adults, that is separate, jacuzzi (for all) , free parking, beach is not far, but you have to go from the hotel about 300-400 m. There is small Sissi town nearby with shops and restaurants, so there are some places for shopping and eating.
The best thing about my stay was...Pools, free parking, food at dinner time.

Be wary of the "spa" hotel name - Accompdation standard does not match up
Paula , Glasgow
We stayed here with out two young girls 2 & 4). After a very late flight we arrived at the hotel reception with two very tired and very grumpy girls. With no acknowledgement of this we were forced to spend 20 mins filling in paperwork which really could have waited until the morning. In addition having to pay additional money €70 for AC and safety deposit box was outrageous - of course you will never refuse because of the heat and for security. We were then advised that there wouldn't wven be water or anything in our rooms - which for AI and having told them we would Rrivw late was a let down. The gentleman on reception even had the gall to say we would need to go to the bar and pay for this as the AI rate finished at 11pm!!! After asking very nicely and through gritted teeth he finally obliged and gave us two WARM bottles of water! We then got to our room and were even more deflated with the room family "suite" it was not. The hotel website is definitely pushing the false advertising card to the limits!! It was very basic. Dark - the first entrance /kitchen area has no windows - my husband and I joked it was like a prison! turns out the rooms are all the same - basic. But they were clean. The pool was amazing for the kids! As well as the swing parks and play areas - the kids club isn't really a kids club. More like a random member of staff taking the kids for an hour or so (if u are brave enough to leave them). The kids club hut was amazing tho and if they done the club a little more professionally, would be great!! The food restrictions on AI was terrible too. With free snacks at the bar being chips or ham and cheese sandwich - that's it!!!! Anything else, you had to pay for. The food in the restaurant was pretty good - as expected, some nights better than others. Overall it was a good holiday and we enjoyed it. But if you book this hotel expecting "suite" or "spa" like Accompdation - you will be very disappointed.

THERE IS A WIDE VARIETY OF FOOD IN THE SISSI BAY HOTEL BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT IS LAKING IN ANY KIND OF TASTE. AT THE BEGINNING YOU ARE OVERWHELMED WITH THE AMOUNT OF FOOD ON OFFER SO YOU HAVE SEVERAL ATTEMPS AT TRYING TO FIND THE WRIGHT FOOD FOR YOU OR SHALL WE SAY SOMETHING THAT ACUALLY TASTES NICE. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS YOU BEGIN TO REALISE THAT NOTHING THERE COMPARES TO ANYTING YOU HAVE HAD BEFORE AND REALLY IT ALL JUST ONE BIG TASTELESS MESS AND THEN YOU JUST DONT EAT OR LIKE ME EAT CRISPS FROM AROUND THE CORNER THE GOOD THING IS THAT I LOST 5lbs IN ONE WEEK!! AFTER A WHILE YOU JUST SEEM TO STOP PUTTING THINGS ON YOUR PLATE OR JUST NOT BOTHERING TO GO INTO THE RESTAURANT. THEY SAY THAT IT IS ALLINCLUSTIVE PUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE FOR US EVERYTING SEEMS TO HAVE A PRICE TAG LIKE THE AIR CONDITIONING THE SAVE AND DRINKS AND FOOD AT CERTAIN TIMES.
The best thing about my stay was...THE BEACH

we were seperated even though i booked in as a party bookin
Marie Lydon, Manchester
On arriving at Sissi Bay Hotel we were seperated into two seperated rooms around 10/15 minutes apart from each other across a main road. This meant that my children were in one room and i was in another and i felt very nervous because i was so far away from them. I did ask at reception if we could be moved so that we would be closer and they said that there was nothing else available until later in the week and it would only be moving a couple of doors away. Also we felt that the food was of very poor quality. I feel i should inform other tourist before they book this hotel.

Beautiful hotel and relaxing atmosphere
Alina, Cambridge, UK
Hotel looks very good, it has many facilities. It is close to the beach. We has a sea view from our window, which was great. We really enjoyed evening programs in the hotel - barbeque nights and other programs with music, dancers and other entertainment. The downside was that air conditioning was additional EUR 5 per day, safety deposit box was another EUR 5 per day. We were forced to get both of them as it was too hot in the room in August, and our balcony door was not closing, so we had to buy safety deposit box as well in case if someone breaks into our room. After 1 week stay,on top of our bill we had to pay additional EUR70 for things that could have been free of charge.

FABULOUS HOTEL, EVEN MORE FABULOUS STAFF !!!
I have stayed in this resort several times and loved each stay but can honestly say this was the best ... The staff at this resort are 10* - the most helpful, friendliest people imaginable who go to every length to do their very best for every guest. Nothing is too much trouble and we were made to feel genuinely welcome. It's a pleasure to be greeted by your name every day ... The rooms were spotless and serviced to a very high standard by chamber maids. The choice of pools and bars is extensive - providing something for everyone. Food is good and constistent with a good choice and again great staff on hand every meal. There's a great beach nearby - a short walk and not an expedition as previous reviewers state - stick to the road and it's absolutely fine - negotiate the rocks and yeah it is difficult - it's really no big deal at all and well worth it. Only 6 Euros for two loungers and an umberella for the day and staff happy for you to leave for lunch and return later - will even watch your towels etc Yes there is a great 5* hotel in this resort but having stayed there and experienced such luxury I'd much rather stay at Sissi Bay where I'm made to feel important, welcome and confident that my needs will be met and more than adequate accomodation and facilities. In all I can't wait to return ...
The best thing about my stay was...Nikos, Nikos and Jimmy .... World Class :-)
