Fabulous I have stayed at this hotel many times and the recent improvements have only added to my conviction that this is one of if not the best hotel on this coast
The best thing about my stay was...Friendliness of all the staff and the 'at home' feel

Lovely hotel, very quiet. Have been to this hotel on several occasions. Could do with getting rid of stupid sunbeds..the ones you have to pay for... Put the ordinary sunbeds back in their place. Recommend this hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...Peace and quiet and of course the weather.

We have been to this Hotel twice before when it was known as the Cala Blanca and have always enjoyed our stays here. The refurbishment has improved this hoitel which has a very laid back, chill out feel about it. We booked half board and was not dissapointed. The staff were all very helpful and corteous and nothing weas too much trouble. We look forward to our next visit to Palma Nova and wiull certainly book this hotel again.
The best thing about my stay was...Little touches like supplying small glass water butts container ice cold minted water was use whenever feeling dehydrated or thirsty

Lovely bright decor in rooms and public areas Staff very friendly and helpful Food good but not as much choice as previous years particularly sweets Fewer tables available at meal times so best to try and go at less popular times to ensure no waiting for tables
The best thing about my stay was...position in resort

When we arrived at the hotel,it was a building site.Neither Alpharooms or Melia International Hotels had informed us of this fact.We were relocated to another hotel in another resort. We specifically booked this hotel because of its central location and easy access as i was with my elderly mother and friends.
The best thing about my stay was...The weather

Solos not treated fairly
Disgruntled Solo, Scotland
I spent a week here and was extremely disappointed with my room. It was very clean and comfortable but had been advertised as every room having a private balcony......unfortunately this does not apply if you get a single room as all I had was a very small window looking on to a childrens playground and the street! It also seems that us solo travelers need two beds in our single rooms meaning there is not room to swing a cat in the room and on several occassions I grazed my foot on the rocking chair whilst moving around! The bathroom was similarly cramped and the shower flooded the floor if you did not turn the shower head to the bare minimum flow and face it towards the wall. Not very satisfactory for the price and most certainly unacceptable for the ridiculous price being asked for next season! I could not fault the staff and from what I seen and heard twin rooms appeared to be up to standard but it appears us solos are 2nd class guests and do not deserve the same standard of accommodation and consideration! I go nearly every year to Palmanova but I doubt very much I would return to this hotel, certainly not as a solo traveler and I certainly would not pay the prices they are asking for next year for such an inferior room! Solos deserve consideration too! I paid almost the same for 2 weeks AI in Malta only 2 weeks earlier!
The best thing about my stay was...Location

Not my best
on the whole the hotel was good but like so many chains they treat solo travelers with complete disregard! The site states all rooms have private balcony, this is a lie...single rooms do not! We have a teeny window looking on to the street and extremely limited space in the room.....I stubbed my toes uncounted times on the rocking chair because 2 beds were squeezed in to a so called single room just in case they could manage charge for two! The shower was appalling, you had to have it pointed to the wall on the very lowest power otherwise the floor was flooded! I suspect but cannot confirm this related to single rooms!
The best thing about my stay was...location and staff
