Brian Koeppe, Berlin
We didnt expect a lot but it was awesome. Just perfect for the price and the woman who worked there was very helpful.
The best thing about my stay was...It was quiet but still in a good reach by bus

Best Holiday for service and value
Diane Brown, Newton Aycliffe
My Husband and I stayed at Sunny Hill in June 2011 and its one of the best value for money holidays that we've had. Everything about our stay at the Hotel was perfect, from lovely spacious rooms to a spotless pool and surrounding areas. Everything was maintained to high standards.
The best thing about my stay was...Has got to be "Nanna" she was a diamond who went above and beyond if anybody had any problems or queries. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her.

Basic Accommodation - need car
ian elsdon, Plymouth
We stayed for 3 nights Basic no frills accommodation with camping style "cooker". Too far to walk from paphos centre and harbour. Would recommend a car. Would recommend staying closer to Paphos Harbour. Glad we only stayed 3 nights. Had to pay for air conditioning! Its summer! On a positive it was clean and had a nice view.
The best thing about my stay was...the weather.

Very nice hotel, we will be back!
The hotel room was clean and comfortable (self-catering option). Friendly, polite receptionist. Good service. We liked sea views, a proximity of the beach and a possibility to see beautiful sunsets from the hotel. One little disadvantage of the hotel was the hill we had to climb to get there which could be tiring at the end of the day. On the whole, we had pleasant stay and recommend the hotel for those wishing to have a quiet holiday stay or relax after days of sightseeing.
The best thing about my stay was...Comfort

Two sunny weeks at Sunny Hill
Sue & Stan, Douglas Isle of Man
My wife and I enjoyed two lovely sunny weeks in Cyprus staying at Sunny Hill in mid to late October 2010. Luckily we had arranged to hire a car as we were under the impression Sunny Hill was almost in Paphos but it is actually about 5 kilometres away and slightly nearer to Coral Bay with a steep hill up from the main road, you need to be in pretty fit condition to get up it. We arrived early evening and the young lady on Reception was able to give us the choice of two apartments – one with a balcony overlooked from the hotel terrace and backing on to the main road (which we had heard can be quite noisy at times) – or an apartment at the back (which we decided we preferred) with its own small terrace and an unobscured view towards Paphos and the lighthouse where you could sit and watch the beautiful sunsets. The kitchen equipment was very basic with the corkscrew on the bottle opener snapped in two (fortunately we had brought our own with us) and a damp smell to all the utensil storage cupboards. The radio was broken when we arrived and. after several reminders, was eventually replaced after three days, The young lady on Reception also seems to have to do all the other jobs around the complex including cleaning the swimming pool, so it was sometimes difficult to locate someone if there was a problem. Unfortunately it was a bad time to stay at Sunny Hill as the day following our arrival, work on the renewal of the ageing drainage system commenced and a 10 centimetre pipe was laid running all the way down the hill and loose rubble placed over and on either side of it so that cars could access and leave the on-site parking. Having a fairly low swung car it became a daily nightmare as we could hear the underneath of the car catch and scrape on the rather large rocks that formed part of the rubble. Many of our car trips necessitated getting to the Motorway and from maps it appeared the quickest way to get there was to cut across through the village of Chlorakas but because of the ongoing drainage work we found that a new section of road had been dug up and diversions put into place, nearly every other day. At certain times of the day, the smell of raw sewage did get very bad but this is hardly surprising when there are no notices displayed in the apartments advising guests not to flush paper or any other matter down the toilet. It is so easy for even adults to forget, when you do it automatically at home, but children probably don’t even know about it so a notice would help. For the price we paid it was excellent value and we would certainly be quite happy to return to Sunny Hill on a future visit.

Behind the times Butlins
Simon & Dawn, Weymouth
Accommodation, apart from being up a steep hill, is very tired and in desperate need of update. The first room we were shown to had broken toilet seat and stank of nearby drains so we declined it. The second room had a poorly equipped kitchen which included rusty utensils and the sink/drainer swarmed with ants. Bedroom was carpetted which was thick with dust and the bed linen had holes in. The aircon units (which have to be paid for as separate units) were just about useless and very noisy. The lighting was poor (25w bulbs) apart from the striplight in the kitchen area. The shower was held in place by a hairband - which wasn't strong enough so ended up being wrapped around the taps and the shower curtain was difficult to pull across as the rail was so rusty.
The best thing about my stay was...The weather meant we were out all day
