Arrived around lunch time and were given a room key strait away, the room we were given had not been cleaned and the staff couldn't have apologized enough and provided us with a new room. Hotel and pool area very clean and the staff are friendly. Our stay was all inclusive and we had no issues with food or drink provided, not a great selection of all inclusive but food was lovely and so long as you are not a fussy eater you will find something to eat! Only downside is that, there are signs up stating no noise after 12 midnight but the security guard is insisting everyone has their music off for 11pm. Also we stayed for 6 days but only seen cleaners once and had to ask for clean towels a couple of times.
The best thing about my stay was...Pool Area

Having stayed at many hotels in Ibiza, we were surprised by the Ibiza Mar, it was great value for money, good location for shops, bars etc, very clean, well equipped and the staff were great to be around, always there to help your needs

Self-catering last-minute 8 night holiday - couldn't have asked for more. Loved it! Apartment had everything we needed. Cleaned and towels changed almost every day and sheets once part way through. Balcony had the sun till about lunchtime and then was in the shade so meant it and the apartment were always nice and cool when we came back in. Always plenty of sun beds at the pool too. Would have rated 10 except that there was a tile-width step on the balcony that was too easy to trip over on the way in or out and we did, regularly, because it blended in with the rest of the balcony tiles. Highlighting the edge would have resolved it. . . .
The best thing about my stay was...Views from the balcony - sea to the left and country to the right with the music from the Marina Playa drifting over

Sofas in longe rotten to point at bottom chip board falling off , self catering don't think about cooking your self , more heat rubbing two sticks together than off the two rings . We had no cleaner in all week either , beds worst ever do uncomfy and our linen was stained , bedroom walls dirty ie blood and bogies Nice . only good thing is location

Cheap and cheerful.
Before I arrived at the hotel, I was very worried at what it would be like - considering the price I paid was very cheap. I was absolutely gobsmacked. My room was a great size, wonderful sunset view from my balcony and friendly staff. The only downside is that it is about a 20-30 minute walk to the westend, and my safe didn't have a key so had to create my own little hiding place - which wasn't actually necessary because no one came into my room to clean it, which I wasn't too bothered about. I really recommend this hotel if you want to visit ibiza on a budget.
The best thing about my stay was...View of sunset from balcony

Great holiday - Helpful friendly staff, Clean Rooms
FUN FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE WITH HELPFUL STAFF. MOST OF THE OTHER GUESTS WERE EARLY TWENTIES PARTY PEOPLE - BUT AS WE HAD TEENAGERS THIS WAS GOOD SINCE MOST OF THE PARTY GOERS DID NOT EMERGE TILL LATE AFTERNOON SO WE HAD SUN LOUNGERS, POOL, SNACK BAR AND PING PONG TO OURSELVES ALL MORNING. WE DID HAVE TO MOVE ROOMS DUE TO LOUD PARTYING NEXT DOOR - BUT STAFF MOVED US TO TOP OF HOTEL IN QUIET AREA AS SOON AS WE MENTIONED IT SO ONLY ONE NIGHT OF NOISE. GREAT LOCATION BY BEACH AND NEAR TO WATER TAXI STOP. LOTS OF CHOICE OF ALCOHOL ON ALL INCLUSIVE, WINES AND SPIRITS OF GOOD QUALITY AND SODAS AND WATER READILY AVAILABLE. BUT THE SNACK BAR ONLY OFFERS TOASTED SANDWICHES. NO OTHER SNACKS WERE AVAILABLE WHILE WE STAYED (IN JUNE) ON THE SUNDAY THERE WERE NO SNACKS, BUT AS SOON AS WE HIGHLIGHTED IT TO THE MANAGEMENT THEY ENSURED THEY WERE ALWAYS AVAILABLE. STAFF FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL SORTED OUT ANY PROBLEMS STRAIGHT AWAY. NICE CLEAN ROOM - IT IS AN APARTHOTEL SO ROOM NOT CLEANED EVERY DAY ONLY TWICE A WEEK. THE FOOD WAS GOOD, ONLY A SMALL SELECTION BUT WHAT WAS THERE WAS GOOD - ALWAYS FRESH SALAD, CHIPS AND THINGS LIKE SPAG BOL, MEATS AND PIZZA. GREAT HOLIDAY BEST SUITED TO SINGLES, COUPLES AND FAMILIES WITH OLDER CHILDREN ONLY 13+ WE WOULD GO BACK.
The best thing about my stay was...LOVELY SWIMMING POOL AND BEACHES

Not for families, excellent location.
Was very nervous about staying here as we has read some awful reviews beforehand, we are a 27 year old couple, away for 5 nights and had left baby at home so just looking for a quiet break, nothing mad! On arrival, apartments were clean, bathroom was newly tiled and water pressure in shower was great, We had a lovely sea view. Pool area is clean, you need room cards to gain access so that was good also. Plenty of sun loungers. Decent bar by the pool also. Spar supermarket right outside the door with everything you need. 10 minute walk into San Antonio, by a well lit and busy promenade. Or you can get a water taxi up til 10pm. The only real downside was that rooms were not cleeaned at all during stay so we had to ask for towels and get rid of our own rubbish. I think these apartments depend on who is staying there,we were lucky with older groups and couples, no teens and kids so not much noise. One group did complain their belongings were stolen, possibly staff but balconies are close so if your door is not closed anyone from next rooms could come in! overall better than expected and would prob stay again!
The best thing about my stay was...sunsets!

Nice, Clean, Not particularly Rowdy. Food was vile
We arrived very early in the morning and they gave us our room 12 hrs early at just 30 euros which was good, we had previously emailed. The pool area was clean, as were the hotel and rooms (clean to a young persons standards!). The all-inclusive alcohol was good, as long as there was someone at the bar to serve you, after 20 minutes of waiting, going to reception and telling them there’s no one at the bar and still no one coming we just quickly helped ourselves. There was a large range of alcohols you could have, and I know people say the alcohols watered down, but it can’t be that much considering we were drunk off a hand full of drinks. Pool beds are actually comfy, there was a few things wrong with our room but nothing major, there’s always going to be something wrong with several rooms in a large hotel. They don’t really play music at the pool, If you get the right barman he might turn the music up a little or put your cd on for you but generally it was the same song on repeat, that you could only hear if next to the bar. The food. My god!!!! If you didn’t turn up at the beginning of the meals then you may as well just go to the café at the end of the road. The food was cold, tasted off and uncooked if you came over 30 minutes after the start time of one of the meals. And if you turned up 15 mins before the end of the time allocated for meals then expect completely inedible food. We had breakfast there once all holiday and the beans were cold, milk was warm, cheese was tangy so we went to the café all other mornings. If you are going all inclusive for food, don’t!!!! But the drinks more than cover the extra £15 or so a day it is for all inclusive. All in all a good standard hotel. There were a group of us that went and it does what you need to do, not too close to san Antonio that you have all the nutters, but only a 20 minute walk along the beach side, and good all inclusive drink with the beach over the road.
The best thing about my stay was...All inclusive drink, but not the food

Lovely Stay !!

Had a great week at The Ibiza Mar with my daughters aged 12 and 13 , was nice and quiet while we where there , I had been a bit worried after reading some of the previous reviews but the hotel is spotless and nothing was stolen from my room , view from the balcony was just amazing , free wifi , great location and all restaurants just outside are delicious and cheap , only thing was no entertainment in the evenings for children , il most defiantly like to go back without the children for a week.

THE HOTEL STAFF ARE THEIVES, AVOID THIS HOTEL, DO NOT STAY THERE
A group of us stayed at this hotel and was disgusted with their room service, our rooms were never cleaned and fresh towels were only given to us every 3 days and were thrown on the bathroom floor by the maids. When we arrived we had heard that there were a series of burglaries in the Hotel/ San Antonio area where passports, money and electricals were stolen. Guests also complained that they were getting suspicious knock at the door so we stayed alert and vigilant. On the last night our rooms were broken into, our suitcases ransacked and all our electricals/money were taken, when complaining the receptionist (Mr Xain) he called the police and told them we assaulted him when informing him of the burglary. We later got a police report to give to our travel insurance company and made a complaint to the Manager (Mr Xavi) who was also useless and dismissed the burglary. I later asked him to check who entered the room using a card reader device and it showed that a series of cards were copied and was used to enter the room. He could not account for the replicas and insisted that we could have requested for the copies to be made as we stayed in the rooms. From that point I knew that the staff were involved and they did not care about the burglary and only targeted guest when they were about to check out of the hotel (If we were in the room at the time of the burglary there would be a series of casualties and the intruders would be in intensive care) The security is low and I have witnessed random strangers ask for room keys without any identification present, there are no cameras and no security guards. I would not advise you to think or even dream of staying there if you value your life and belongings.
The best thing about my stay was...there was none, DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL BE BURGLED

Cheap and cheerful
This hotel was great value for the price we paid. The rooms are advertised as one bed apartments but are actually studios. The pool is small but was fine for the start of May as not many people were there. The bathrooms in the rooms are modern and spacious. Beds are comfy and balconies are a good size. We had a nice sea view. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beach and right beside shops and restaurants. It is 3 euro for a beer at the pool bar. Staff were very friendly. I would stay here again.

hell on earth
nigel cooke, nottingham
ive stayed in the ibiza mar on two other occasions, and had no probs booking a third stay, however. the standard has fallen so low since my last visit 3yrs ago, it was full of young groups of lads and girls shouting swearing, and being drunk. i was woken up at 6am, to find four girls from the next room, and 3 lads sat on the balcony, yelling and screaming, and playing music as loud as they could. i had more than a few words with them andso did the manager, there were a few others in the apartments with children, and im no ibiza is mainly catered for the young, i have no probs with that, but a little respect for others late at night when they come back is all thats asked. total disregard for others is all we got 24/7. if your young and have total disregard for others and dont mind staying in a pigsty after others have done with it. then this place is a must for you and anybody like you and you are all welcome to it, you deserve each other. if you are a couple, or family, and have any common sence about you, then please please. dont use these apartments, you will regret it i promise you
The best thing about my stay was...nothing at all

We have just got back today from the Ibiza mar. We had an amazing holiday. But there is no ezy any of us would stay there again. We were all inclusive but ate out all the time as the food was awful we got served raw chicken on our 1st day and it just got worse fro there. We wanted fresh towels and toilet roll but got told we had to wait for the maid who csme in once in our wks stay she gave us towels but didnt clean the room or change our bedding. The staff wernt friendly or interested in anything we asked them. This was our 2nd time in Ibiza its a great place but the ibiza mar was awful id not want any1 waisting there money staying there.
The best thing about my stay was...The laugh we had the night life is great.
