fantastic Church Palace experience

we were delighted with the whole experience at the hotel. the staff were amazing, the bar was excellent, although a little pricey and the food at breakfast was amazing, there was so much to choose from. overall it was a fantastic place to stay and have already recommended t some someone coming to Rome later this year.
The best thing about my stay was...everything

Just back from a weekend in Rome with my fiancé. Stayed at the Church Palace and it's a lovely hotel. Rooms are modern and clean if a bit small. Plenty of security on the hotel which is reassuring. The best part of the hotel is the breakfast, plenty to eat and very tasty. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The only downside to the hotel is the price of the food in the restaurant, extremely expensive. Overall we loved the hotel though and would recommend it.
The best thing about my stay was...Breakfast and close to Metro

Great hotel and for sure I will stay here again! The breakfast was lovely and room always cleaned! Location is pretty good as a metro station is just down the road! Only thing I would say is the hotel doesn't have a gym/spa and the room are on the small side! I would recommend this hotel to any friends or family
The best thing about my stay was...The building is beautiful

When we booked we saw that they were undergoing certain refurbishment but were reassured that this process was over by end of June, we arrived July 7th. The location outside was breathtaking the most beautiful garden and the area was quiet but central. There is a metro station very close by. As soon as we got in we checked in and proceeded to our room, on the way to the lift we walked through an area with a strong smell of paint and refurbishment going on. Air conditions removed and placed on the floor and basically walking through construction site. We went up to our room and it was a 'classic' room, the room was a lot smaller than displayed but enough, the room was run down but clean. The flooring wasn't carpeted meaning we could hear people in the morning talking in the corridor. The room said it had wifi included but against a fee which we found out there and then, no coffee/tea makers. We had to complain to the front desk to receive one of the benefits of the room. Therefore the only FREE WIFI area was downstairs in the lobby, where there were only three chairs spread throughout which where always taken, understandably but besides that there was no room for any one else as one couldn't sit on the floor but they didn't provide us which decent seating due to the construction in both areas! The breakfast was very poorly, not selection wise but quality as most of the food tasted stale and old. One morning they had to turn up the volume of the music during breakfast in order to not hear the drilling and construction going out just outside the breakfast area. All in all quite a disappointing stay.
The best thing about my stay was...Outside of the hotel

Brilliant hotel. Fantastic location with great local restaurants nearby wich are better and more reasonable than Rome. Joes is excellent. Metro two minutes walk away to take you into Rome which only took about 15 minutes. Beautiful ornate building with some beautiful refurb going on which will make it even more impressive! Got a suite which was spacious and it was a free upgrade . The staff were helpful. Breakfast not the best but also not the worst we have had but plenty of variety so always something for everyone. Would definately not hesitate to stay here again
The best thing about my stay was...Everything. Even the grounds were beautiful.
