2 star not 4 star
Was a ok hotel but definitely 2 star. Food was ok but the meat was pressed & cheap & tastless. Deserts were nice. Only coffee available was from a machine & was very bitter. I went and bought a kettle. Hotel is at the top of a hill. I asked at reception what buses went there but no one seemed to no. Buses 5-6-7 stop outside hotel. You stop them by putting your hand out & you give there driver 2 lira. Found hairs in my food a couple of times so I ate out a good few times. Lady in the massage parlour was a nightmare. Kept trying to persuade me to have a massage. The only reason I didn't was because they had no price list. I booked a room with a sea view but only got a partial view from my very tiny balcony.
The best thing about my stay was...Entertainment team were nice & most staff were nice and friendly.

The hotel was 2 star not 4 star. Food wasn't all that & meat was compressed meat & didn't taste of anything. Reception staff weren't very knowledgeable & very very limited wifi. Also finding hairs in my food wasn't good.!
The best thing about my stay was...The pool was nice & entertainment team were nice & tried hard.

Lovely view, nice apartment, LOUD bar
Sarah Flaherty, London, UK
Because Pamay is on a hilltop (don't be put off, little dolmus buses pass in both directions every 5 minutes), if you ask for a sea view, the view over the bay is lovely. The apartments are spacious and while not exactly glamorous, everything works. When I arrived, there was no cooker or cooking utensils in the room, and when I asked they took 24 hours to arrive -I think there was a breakdown in communication somewhere along the line! The man on the desk most of the time - Mehmet, I think - was great, really helpful and cheerful; the others tried to be helpful, but didn't speak much English - there again, in Turkey, why should they?! My only complaint was that every night, the pool bar - which half of the apartments face - played really loud music which you could still hear even if you closed your windows and doors, and at 32 degrees, who wants to? I realise that that's what some guests want, but others really don't. If you fancy a bit of peaceful contemplation on your balcony at the end of the day, or have a brace of little kids to get to sleep - forget it! I think in the interests of fairness, Pamay should stress this in their advertising, so that those who want to avoid it can do so. If I want to go to a club, I go, I don't want the club in my hotel room! So, lovely situation, good apartments, nice staff, but no peace from about 7pm to 1am.
The best thing about my stay was...The view out over Kusadasi bay.
