Nice hard mattress, great sea view, breakfast buffet in abundance. Not far from The Square for nightly entertainment. Resteraunt nearby, had a 2 course Chinese for less than €10pp on opposite side of the road. €10 for 3 days internet, should be free wifi these days but connection good.
The best thing about my stay was...Beds & sea view

horrible,,wont be returning to the jardin any time soon
tony zed, dorset
it s all about luck of the draw and timing, been here twice before.. easter time both occassions we had great time.. cant fault hotel,,i think it is great place good location,, only last visit in may 19. did we realise paper thin walls total loutish .. stags,,hen parties running wild ALL night,,out of 11 nights our party of 7 family 3 rooms between us .. will never use this hotel again sadly because we like it..decent price good location etc. but too much like magaluf ..which is fine but when offered this place as family friendly,, someone is not being very honest,,didnt spoil my holiday too much,, i will say hotel did offer room change to higher floor which was better,, but still no good for families,,or people that want sleep at night,, will keep using alpharooms they still the best,,22 years later still using them..final word on hotel staff sure they meant well,,doubt very much they have much control on dozens of party goers after boozy night out
The best thing about my stay was...not being in noisy hotel

A little on the shabby without the chic, the first room we where given was at the side of building, 323, the wooden counter tops badly marked and scarred, clean but drab “old furniture, and the red kettle in room down right dangerous! As it doesn’t click off and the handle gets hot!, we paid for upgrade with sea view, ( 509) almost identical room, slightly less scarring on surfaces, but another dangerous kettle.. ( also for some unknown reason the socket was on wall opposite countertop and was impossible to plug kettle or toaster in kitchen area? Windows stiff to open, and even closed do nothing to reduce noise from around pool area. Or shouting kids and swearing adults at night! On the up side, staff are incredibly nice, from cleaner to reception staff! The hotel was clean and tidy, the pool freezing! But there is a heated indoor pool, child area small with just one climbing frame/slide and a few sit on rockers. Food around pool was nice and reasonably priced. Hotel is quite a way from Santa Ponca main area nearer Sa Coma, and lots of uphill walking.
The best thing about my stay was...Very helpful staff

Authentic Spanish feel
Bernie Mullins, Bournemouth
We had a standard one bedroom apartment. Authentic Spanish feel as it is a bit dated. Clean rooms, best shower ever, towels and toiletries provided. Good location we had a hire car which we could park nearby. We did not eat in the hotel. Swimming pools both clean and warm enough for middle of October! You can walk round the bay lovely walk past lots of nice bars and restaurants. The bay nearest to the hotel was fab for snorkelling! Would recommend for families and would agree 3 star is fair rating. If you want a better room view pay a bit more. We had standard and could still see the water

Stayed here for 10 days end of july with overall good experience, arrived here much earlier before check in room was not ready yet so we had lunch on poolside, it was nice and good value, after went to reception and thanks to receptionist Teresa she had room ready for us, nice sea view from balcony, rooms were cleaned regularly, rooms are not soundproof good choice of food at the restaurant, only downturn about a gymnasium two MN magnetic bikes and one cross trainer and all three out of order Main Beach reachable with under 15 min walk by the coast along other hostels or take the road with many shop on the way
The best thing about my stay was...See views

Always a pleasure to stay here
Sunlover, Sligo, Ireland
Have stayed at Jardin del Mar for many years. We just keep going back because it never fails to please. This year we stayed in one of their Priority Suites. Panoramic views of spectacular Santa Ponsa Bay. The pool is lovely and in June/July there were plenty of sunbeds. Pool bar has lovely snacks, served by very friendly staff, especially Kevin. The apartment was spacious, cleaned almost every day. The hotel is situated in a nice area, lots of shops, pubs and restaurants around.

Just returned from this hotel after a 7 night break (20th to 27th June 2018) This hotel has a fabulous location and virtually all rooms have a sea view. However, the rooms are dated and could really do with being refurbished, the kitchen is tiny and utensils supplied are very basic. Rooms were cleaned (not to a high standard) 5 times and beds changed 3 times during our 7 night stay, towels were not changed daily even if left in the bath as requested. We decided on self catering option which was a good choice as food in hotel restaurant was not the best, however, food at poolside bar was really good and not too expensive. There’s a couple of nice bars close to the hotel which also offer average meals. Outdoor pool was nice but indoor pool closed! It was really annoying that folk put towels on all the best sun beds and at 8am and don’t even use them till later in the afternoon even though there are signs up saying towels will be removed if sun beds not being used by 10.30. We found most of the reception staff really helpful but waiters in main restaurant were very rude at times. There were quite a few groups on young people which was fine during the day but proved a little noisy at night. All in all not a bad place to stay but would probably not return unless rooms were refurbished.
