Disappointed

Stayed here from 03/10 - 15/10. I cannot fault the hotel grounds they are very clean, tidy and nice. 99% of the staff where fantastic. Very welcoming and pleasant. I feel that the 'quiet' pool that the hotel have should be a adult only pool as I was asked on several occasions to keep my 4 year old autistic son quiet. We could not use the larger 'louder' pool as this made my son feel very uncomfortable. The guy apologised when I complained and explained my sons situation. This left us on edge for the remaining holiday. I cannot fault the reception staff, bar staff or restaurant staff they was very pleasant and helpful. As was Shelly the guest relations manager. The only other thing that we did not enjoy was only have one restaurant as we had been other hotels (of the same price) which has several restaurants. Unfortunately we would not visit again.

The best thing about my stay was...

The Hot Weather. Friendly staff.

Super!

Third time at St George in six months. Had another fantastic holiday. Food wasn't as good as it was the last two times, breakfast and lunch are good but dinner can be repetitive or very 'same' some evenings. The staff are very friendly and do everything to make your stay pleasant. Went to the beach for the first time this holiday and really enjoyed it, beautiful beach cabins that guests can stay in (for an additional cost) and I heard great reviews round the pool about them. Highly recommended place to stay. Rooms are clean but some are basic. Cleaners come in everyday and are constantly mopping the floors and corridors.

The best thing about my stay was...

Amazingly friendly staff always making me giggle :-)

Fantastic

A family friendly hotel. Staff are amazing & very friendly. Hotel split between child pool & quiet pools to cater for all. Short taxi distance from Nama Bay & Old Market. Gym & Spa facilities are good. Second time there & I will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

The best thing about my stay was...

Relaxing by day & having great times in Nama Bay by night.

Great hotel

Good food lots of choice friendly staff clean. All good for a week. Try out Adam the hair stylist and the massages are really good too. Hotel shops are reasonable and there are shops and a bar nearby but check the prices in the hotel first. Really enjoyed myself and the animation team are good and if you're disabled well they are wonderful. I can see why people go back. I will be I had a good holiday and met great people. I had a Mum two sisters and a son there. Lol

The best thing about my stay was...

Relaxing and fun as nice people

fantastic

We returned to St Georges for the second time in August 2010. The hotel and staff were fantastic yet again. The private beach was wonderful and again the staff at the beach couldnt do enough for us. We went an the sunset cruise which was an enjoyable experience. the nice thing about this hotel is its not rowdy, and lovely and safe for children. We found that changing our money at the hotel bank gave us a much better rate than at home. The gold shop is worth a look at whilst you are there. We have booked to go back in August ant are really looking forward to our 3rd holiday there. ( LADIES TRY THE HAIR SALON AND BE PAMPERED)

The best thing about my stay was...

They can't do enough for you and are genuinly lovely people

Great Hotel - Location Not Great!

This was our first holiday in Egypt, so when looking at the hotels in Sharm el Sheikh, in our budget, we looked at a good few hotels - the three corners shone out from the rest with some great reviews which made this hotel the one for us. We can happily say this was a great hotel. There were however few let downs 1. The beach wasn't within walking distance, 2. The hotel is a little 'in the sticks' - you can't just walk out of it and be a five minute walk from everything you want 3. The night time entertainment only lasts for an hour, so after that you're on your own. Services - The hotel is constantly being cleaned and is fumigated daily. The hotel staff are all very friendly, a little too friendly with young girls on there own but it's all in good fun. The animation team are always around to liven things up and there are activities everyday, "amo" is one of the guys to watch out for! The water volley ball and water polo are both great fun! The food on offer was always nice but a little repetitive the day we saw chips being served was one our happiest! haha. The drinks on offer were good too with a varied selection and a decent lager. Room - We got a room overlooking the activity pool and would recommend you do the same, the other pool is bigger but a bit too quite for us. The room itself was very good size with a nice little balcony and a really big bed. The walk-in shower was good and a hair dryer is provided free of charge. There is also a safe provided free of charge. The TV has a few English language channels and we found ourselves watching a good movie every night! best and least - The excursions - the night-life. We booked the sunset cruise through the hotel, the price was good and we would recommend it :) We booked other excursions though our holiday rep, we went on the quad bikes, 4x4 Jeep safari and the dune buggies. These were all great trips although the quad bikes were a lot better than the dune buggies in our opinion. If you like snorkelling or would like to know where is best to do it, we were told that 'reef beach' was really good for snorkelling. We went there in a taxi, it cost 25 Egyptian pound each to get onto the beach but the snorkelling was amazing! definitely recommend you go! Just be careful of the coral, its very sharp and it cuts you quite easily without you knowing!

The best thing about my stay was...

Being with my girlfriend =]
